Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Location is perfect. Walking distance to the main attractions of the city. Lots of stores nearby if you forgot personal stuff at home. Price is reasonable. Breakfast has a lot of choices. Would recommend this place

Great location, right next to the main shopping area and across the harbour from the World Heritage site. All the main atractions are within walking distance, including the airport rail link. Good breakfast ad comfortable room.

United KingdomWing we were in was a little bit tatty. Lift in our section not working although they were in main building. That meant I had to carry a heavy case up 8-10 stairs. Also, our room was an odd shape, but that didn't affect our comfort.

The hotel is centrally located, making it incredibly convenient to explore all the major attractions in Bergen. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the breakfast spread was diverse and delicious, catering to various tastes and preferences. The only minor issue was the noise from the radiators, which was noticeable at times. However, I must commend the hotel’s staff for their prompt and efficient resolution of the problem each day. Their professionalism truly enhanced my stay. Overall, I highly recommend the Scandic Neptun Hotel for anyone visiting Bergen. It combines great location, beautiful views, excellent cleanliness, and outstanding service.

SwitzerlandThe hotel is quite expensive for what you get ($200+ per night). In addition, the rooms could be more comfortable - the bedding is okay, and the A/C light is pretty strong, preventing you from sleeping.
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Bergen and makes it easy to visit the city. The rate includes a pretty good breakfast with a wide variety of food options. The rooms are good and heated, and especially clean.
