During the weekend the breakfast is from 7am, I would suggest to start at 6:30am also in the weekend as the hotel is very close to the ferry terminal and many people would love to have breakfast before taking the ferry.

We stayed at level 12, just one level below the skybar. The bar was a little noisy for us as we are rather early sleepers.

Superb breakfast with a great variety. Quite long timings for the buffet breakfast - good for us who prefer a late breakfast. Great location near Odderoya and Fiskebrygga; also near the park/beach where we did our morning runs. Relatively near to the old town too.

The bed was terrible, the mattress was like a trampoline, always jumping when the partner moved ... not good. The room and bathroom was super small, OK for one night, but not for a longer stay.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding, rich and delicious. The environment was amazing, very well located with nice view, the staff was very friendly.

Our room smelled a lot like public toilet and the smell would not disappear. Also the bathroom in general was not very clean, there were stains everywhere.

The breakfast was exceptional, the beds very comfortable and the room quite decent in general.

* Breakfast was very busy and upon check-in there's 3 distinct times during the morning for when guests can eat. The best option was gone upon us arriving around 6pm, which meant either 06:30-08:00 or 10:00-11:00 was possible. If we had plans that same day which meant an earlier departure, this might've been an issue for us to leave on time. Ultimately, it appeared as if everyone didn't adhere to times as the breakfast area was so full it surely wasn't planned. We prefer to have the possibility to pick when WE wish to sleep in, get up and go to breakfast and not have set times. * There's very limited parking in front of the hotel and once it's full, it's full. There's no option to park there overnight... The next best options would be street parking somewhere nearby or in a pricier parking garage behind the hotel :( We were lucky enough to find one of the few spots and for 24hrs it cost us around €21 which we found very fair.

* We were accommodated a TWIN room which we requested, even though the hotel was very full. The reception staff did a wonderful job finding a room for us on the spot and we appreciated it as we required 2 single beds, not a double to share. * The view from our room overlooked the water directly in front of the hotel and there were plenty of restaurants nearby.

The harbor is close which means there will be noise in the morning particularly if you are used to sleeping with an open window. But that is really the only downside and easily outweighed by the overall experience

Very weak WiFi; very expensive car park.

Excellent location close to the piers where many restaurants are located. Easy walk to town center and square, room has a view of the ocean. Breakfast with many variety of food.

If you travel by car, you need to pay for the parking (if you find a slot which are also super tight), and the fees are monstrous (I paid 360 NOK for 24 hours). The hotel staff recommended to use public parking along the street, but you would need to walk with luggage and your car would be out of sight.

Very good location in Kristiansand, you can reach both the center and the ferry terminal in less than 5 minutes walking. The hotel is standard, but good quality

We were looking for slippers in our room but couldn’t find any.

We traveled by train to visit the Kunstsilo Museum for one night, and both the location and view from the apartment were amazing.
