Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

UkraineThere was not enough cutlery to cook, specifically pots (there was only one giant one) and the pan was too old and too big. The oven took ages to heat up. The bathroom was always wet and slippery after the shower because the shower was basically not a cabin, just a shower separated by the curtain.

United KingdomThe sofa bed was very uncomfortable. The beds had mattress toppers but the sofa bed needed something. When the sofa bed is out, there is very little room left, and the door to the bathroom is blocked by the table!
The apartment was lovely and in a great location. The contact for the booking was excellent. We didn't have any issues so I can't say how well problems are dealt with.

Egypt1- Location needs to walk for about 800m which is a problem if u have bags. 2- Late information about Apartment send to you. You need to have a mobile with Internet. 3- Apartment was in the 4th floor and there is no elevator. 4- They r not flexible on checkout. U have to leave by 11:00 am or to pay 25usd to extend for 4 hours.

Czech RepublicThe apartment had a very strange variety of stuff included in the apartment. There was an ironing board and a washingmachine but no hair drier. Also the bed wasn’t a double bed as it was supposed to be, but at most 1 and a 1/2. The kitchen also had a strange balance of stuff, few cuttleries, just 2 mini mugs, only one huge pan. That could be easily improved.

Turkeythe check-in process was relatively straightforward but obtaining the details via message involved a few extra steps. This might be a "minor" problem for individuals with limited English and no internet access. Additionally, although the overall cleanliness of the room was good, I would say it was compromised by a blood stain on the duvet covers, and the bedding options were limited, with only one thick blanket available.
I appreciated the convenient location of the property and the well-equipped amenities provided in the room.

United Kingdom- room 111 was very difficult to find in the backyard, as entrance was fully hidden due to parked vans. had to call customer service after 15mins of searching - kitchen hob and splash not fully clean - sealant of walk-in-shower cubicle not working, thus after shower whole bathroom was (flooded) and stayed wet for a long time as no air conditioning. - keypad to enter apartment stopped functioning, forcing us to call customer service again to access remotely and let us into apartment. - mattresses of beds too soft, not healthy
