The campsite is located in a beautiful place near the lake. We had a shared bathroom with a paid shower. Clean and no queues. There is a spacious shared kitchen.

Communal ktchen, fridge and laundry room. Well equipped but the oven and some cooking plates out of order. Same situation in laundry room. Cant be too difficult to maintain I would think.

Rooms are clean and comfortable, bathrooms well maintained and clean. Be aware you hv to pay for a hot water shower. Good location for buabreen hiking but not close to town. Nice lake view.

Camping is quite big and it was full so not many showers were available, Nothing serious but maybe there could be more showers. You need to pay to shower. The kitchen misses a toaster.

The staff and lake views are the best things about the camping. Staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. They speak a lot of languages.

Wi-Fi in our room was almost non-existent, but since we stayed only one night we didnt care that much.

Rooms were clean and pretty cozy for a camping room. Staff was really nice and friendly. Shared kitchen is big enough for more people (2 sinks, couple of stoves, big fridge…). There is a small store at the reception where you can buy some snacks and drinks 👍🏼

Great camping accomodation and staff were nice to introduce us the facilities. It’s a base camp to the hike so facilities are shared. You have to put on the linens yourself and clean up when you leave.

Our room was facing the building with the kitchen and bathrooms, so all the time we were surrounded by noise and people going to the kitchen/bathroom. There was no hot water in the shower - the fee was consumed by the machine. Fortunately, the girl at the reception returned us the money for the shower.

The camping was rather busy. Our cottage provided no privacy and was constantly surrounded by running cars and campers. I think this is a great camping for campers and tent. But the cottages were cramped into a not so nice corner next to the road :-(

The location was super. The kitchenette was well equipped. Big laundry room and kitchen.

Perhaps darker and longer curtains as it is very light at night during summer. Perhaps some more utensils in the kitchen. But perhaps people keep stealing things....

Quite the walk to the station but there is a bus you can take into the centre of town instead. The other bus stop where buses from other cities go by is about 10mins walk from Trolltunga camping and that one can be a bit dodgy to catch a bus from because its located on a street with a sharp turn so one can hardly wave a bus down in time (apparently you have to do that for it to stop even if you are standing right at the bus stop sign WITH luggage...)

Staff were really helpful and friendly. Room and facilities were what you would expect at a camping accommodation.

I would have liked a bed for a couple and not a bunk bed

The room was located such that it was facing the quite busy reception/public kitchen area (where people would be busy until 23:00 p. m.

Very uncomplicated camping site fast check-in and check out. Kind of what you expect on such a site in Norway.

We stayed in a cabin. We hired bikes from them to go to the Glacier and explore the valley. Can get a bus from Odda.

The cabin was just in front of the common area (kitchen, bathrooms, etc.), and it was therefore pretty noisy. It was very difficult to get the room dark enough for sleeping as the tents did not cover enough light.

The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, but there is no wall socket where it is located. So we had to move it to another part of the apartment with available sockets.

We spent a night in one of the apartments. The apartment is well-equipped and is very comfortable. The campsite is very nice and it has great views of the lake. There is a path for walking around the lake. The staff in the reception was super friendly and they helped a lot with information about hiking routes in the area.

Location is okay, still in Odda, but a little bit further away from center. You can walk to the center and harbour in about half an hour. The cabin we stayed in was clean, the kitchen well equipped. Parking place was next to our cabin. The guy at the reception helped us to choose the best day during our stay to hike the Trolltunga.
