The house has a fantastic view, located halfway up the mountain, where you can directly overlook the fjord. The fjord looks especially beautiful from a higher vantage point. The house itself is also very charming, with a grass-covered roof that adds to its unique character. It's not very large, and the rooms are relatively small, but the living room is comfortable, and the kitchen facilities are reasonably well-equipped. The staff were very helpful and provided us with lots of useful advice. The next morning, it was just over 3 kilometers, less than 10 minutes' drive to the ferry terminal by the seaside. We queued up to buy tickets and hopped on a scenic ferry to Hellesylt.

Hole Hytter at Geiranger was amazing. The view was even better than the pictures. The cabin was wonderful and our family of six slept great and enjoyed everything about it. The only thing we wish was that our stay was longer. We can’t wait to come back.

The single beds are very tiny and I couldn’t get any good sleep, tried the couch as well but that was very uneven. Would book again regardless though, stunning view and lovely hut.

Could not get enough of the view and had to stare it at for hours each day. Kitchen has everything you need, lovely lounge area and bathroom.

There was an early snow so we enjoyed building a snowman. We enjoyed the views of the valley surrounded by waterfalls that looked like white ribbons. The cabin was quiet, warm, and clean.

Wifi was slow. But they were upfront on this so it was not a surprise. Was surprising for this style of accommodation to expect you to bring linen or hire. But we knew this upfront and were ok with the charge.

Amazing views right from to your window. Small cabin. But well set out with a good number of seats for the sleeping capacity of the cabin. Incredible shower. Friendly and helpful staff.

Could use more lighting in the rooms.

First of all Geiranger is like a fairy tale, and this property was at the center of it. It’s hard to tell from the photos, but it’s on a steep hill, and the view is excellent. The road there is a bit terrifying, but it is prime realestate for those hoping to hike up the mountain, and I walked to a trail from my room in the morning. The cabin is excellent. My only complaint is that it could use a bit more light at night, but otherwise was excellent. I took my 87 year old father with me, and he had no problems with the place. It even allowed me to hike in the morning while he was still asleep. Hiking up to the high valley above the waterfalls is definitely the highlight of my trip. The woman running it was also very friendly, and we talked for a bit before her duties took her focus elsewhere. Would definitely stay again. Will be back, to hike further into the mountains. Oh, and this entire valley is basically just the sound of dozens of water falls, one on the property, and two more within a few Minutes walk! Seriously, Rivendell’s got nothing on this place.

Absolutely fantastic experience. It's a bit of a long walk to get up the mountain from the village bu the view is and the setting is so worth it. Everything was clean and cosy. Staff was helpful and welcoming. I highly recommand
