The rooms we were given faced a busy street and taxi station. There was no thermostat in the room, but due to the noise from outside, we could not leave the windows open. In Short it was noisy.

The location is wonderfully close to both the bus station and the train station. The hotel is quite nice and well-maintained.

Sounds can be clearly heard between rooms (evenings snoring). Asked for á coffepod refill but was not taken care off ( stayed for four nights). Payed for superior room, got á room on the second floor with zero view

The A/C wasn’t very efficient, but at night was cold and by opening windows we were able to sleep fine.

How close the hotel was to the train station, since we use the Bergen Railway from Oslo. It was very convenient after a long ride from Oslo. Also the location was great and very quiet at night. The breakfast was very good, lots of options to eat.

The double bed had two separate mattresses with a gap in the middle meaning that it didn’t feel like my husband and I were sharing a bed. We also had two choices of pillow, very small or very large- an average pillow size would have been good.

Perfect location and very tastefully decorated. Beautiful restaurant and bar with a great variety. The room was a very generous size and was comfortable to relax in during the day as well as the evening. An excellent selection and choice a breakfast that was served for a good length of time. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room as well as a mini fridge was great.

I do not believe the room had air conditioning. I was rather warm when I arrive. However as night fell opening the windows made for comfortable sleep.

We got two single beds pushed together rather than a double bed as requested. We did stay for 5 nights breakfast became very repetitive not much variation .

Location very good,nice walk to harbour front for shop and restaurants very close to station for early morning tours and tram stop across the road so very easy for airport.

The main entrance is locked at midnight so if you get back after that time, you will have to wait for the staffs to unlock it - a bit inconvenient.

Breakfast - the pâté was excellent. The room was spacious, and the location was also great.

The room was a bit stuffy, but we opened the window which helped. Super thin walls so could hear people in the next room.

Nice old hotel feel, friendly staff and wonderful location for travellers especially if you are travelling by rail or bus. Rooms are small but fully adequate and charming feel.

Super friendly hotel staff, lovely large spotless room so close to everything and walking distance to all the right places. Breakfast was really nice every morning with lots of options, room felt spacious and secure. We had a lovely stay at the hotel, even when it rained they gave out three umbrellas for us all to use for the day, and called us a Taxi to take us back to the hotel which was so much cheaper. Definitely highly rate overall experience.
