No complimentary tea, coffee or milk. There was a kitchen but no oil, salt, pepper, sugar supplied for cooking? We had an amazing big window view out to the sea and night sky that we loved sitting by, but faces out to a wrap around porch that was available to other cabins, bit awkward trying to enjoy the view and having other guest walk past and looking in. Couldn't figure out how to check out on the app. There were alot of useful things on their app, but reception did not mention when checking in, only found out when trying to check out.

Location was breathtaking. We came mainly to try and see the Nothern lights. We stayed 3 nights and was able to see the northern lights on the first 2 nights!!! Easy parking outside our cabin. Spacious and comfy. We didnt have the best of weather but cabin was nice and warm. There were fresh pastries available to buy at reception but we weren't aware of until later in our stay which was a little disappointing. Reception was nice enough to print out some train tickets for us for our next travels.

We booked three nights with breakfast. The first day was excellent and we enjoyed the fresh foods and freshly baked pastries. However, on the second and third days, we encountered a big tourist group. The hotel allowed them to take food for "lunch". That became a problem as there was not enough food to go around during this time.

The hotel was in a good location for us to explore the large Lofoten area and hiking trails. The view from the location was great, we even saw a little northern lights although it was blocked by the clouds later. The place is clean and well maintained. Staff including those in the restaurants were friendly. We used the kitchen to cook food twice. By the way, for those who want to cook, we only found salt, no other spices nor cooking oil. We did not find tea or coffee in the room either.

Would have been nice to have some tea and coffee and salt and pepper in the room especially as the restaurant had closed for the season a couple of days earlier

Stunning location in a complex of charming cottages. Clean and comfortable stay and close to sights and restaurants. Completely contactless checking and out process which is a little odd but good communication about the process.

The sleeper couch in the lounge could have been cleaner.

Absolutely stunning, unobstructed view from our red dockside cabin! Benches available outside on dock to sit and soak in the sun, views, and cocktails of course. Small but functional space. Kitchen was well equipped, with utensils, crockery and glasses. Bakery and restaurant with the grounds were excellent. We also experience sea kayaking under the midnight sun - https://sagaadventureslofoten.com - very convenient location, and great team & guide.

The place doesn't give you coffee for the coffee machine they provide, you have to buy it from them or drink coffee at the cafe.

This place is great to watch northern lights and take few hike in Riene. However during our visit it was cloudy so we couldn't see the northern lights. The room has small kitchen

There was nothing to dislike about the hotel itself. The only minor inconvenience was the limited bus schedule in the area, but that’s not the hotel's responsibility. I did wait until 1 AM hoping to catch the Northern Lights, but no luck this time.

I had an amazing stay at Eliassen Rorbuer! Everything about this place was just perfect. The hotel is beautifully designed and spacious, offering a next-level experience. I chose a chalet facing the ocean and mountains, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The red color of the chalet adds a charming touch, and the whole area around the hotel is stunning. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful during both check-in and check-out. I loved the peaceful ambiance of the place – there’s no TV in the room, but you don’t need it. With such spectacular scenery, you’re better off enjoying nature. I even got to see birds squeaking around, and the sunset at nearly 10:30 PM was a memorable experience. I wish I had known in advance that the chalets come with a kitchen, as I would have loved to prepare my own meals while enjoying the view.

Pretty location - but not a stellar place

While bathroom is big, the bedroom is quite small. The others in our group booked a larger cabin, and some booked cabins without view. All of their rooms smelled like fish. Which wasn't nice. Our room although nice with the view, has people walking past all day long - looking in - and then turning away. Bottom line is no privacy. There is not enough parking for everyone staying in the hotel. So coming back with a car late in the evening is stressful. The hotel has many more rooms than expected! The activities at the hotel. like sauna, are way too expensive so we didn't do them. In order to rent kayaks you have to be certified to use them. Or take their class, which costs like 1200 NOK. Its crazy!

We travelled with a group, and everyone booked separately. My husband and I chose a room with a view, and we had the best room by far. Clean, nice view, big bathroom. The onsite Italian restaurant is a great place. Don't expect any super fancy food, but the owner / staff are extremely service minded and nice. Pasta dishes were all delicious after a day of hiking.
