We loved everything!

This is well designed and built small dome village. It was quiet and we could enjoy the atmosphere in the middle of the pine tree forest. The canvas dome was beautiful and very cozy. The air was fresh and relaxing to sleep in. The breakfast with extra coffee served in the dome was delicious and fresh. The shower and other facilities were well organized and accessible. We loved the place and wish we could have stayed longer and also tried out the activities Glød had to offer. We can highly recommend the place!

The idea and the realization are exceptional. The design of the canvas domes is awesome. Regarding the comfort, it was great. You have what you need in the dome and the rest (showers, breakfast, etc.) in the main building. The owners and the staff were super nice and friendly. The communication was quick and flawless. We had a great time there and want to go back

No running water in the bathroom in the dome. They have a jug filled with water to wash your hands, etc.

The wood pieces in fireplace maybe too large or humid. The fire just kept going off many times so I ended up not having fire.

Unique experience with this beautiful dome. Staff are friendly. Dinner was nice and coffee was delivered in the morning.

Such an amazing experience! Sleep in a tent and staring at the window with all that snow is just spectacular!! Plus: it’s very warm inside!! The fireplace was so cozy

This was an amazing place to stay. The domes are super cosy with a big queen bed which faces to a window, with a window overhead as well to watch the sky. They have a heat pump keeping the dome at a cosy 22 degrees, but to combat the -12 degrees, there is a log burner as well with plenty of wood outside in the wood pile to keep you toasty! We had a family of four so we had two domes, but we would hang out in each other's domes, there was plenty of room with the bed and the chairs. The toilet is nice and warm, there isn't running water but there is water to wash and brush teeth. The shower is located next to the dining area so you do have to walk to the shower, but they are nice and warm and powerful, just what you want to warm up. The breakfast was awesome, lots of choice with meats, scrambled eggs, yoghurt, fruit, cheese, salmon, coffee and juice. We also ate one night here as well, and that meal was fantastic and yum! We were able to get a taxi easily enough to go into Alta for shopping and meals. We were able to have a walk up a small hill to see a fantastic view of Alta and the surrounds. The domes were clean and well kept. Overall this was an amazing place to stay, very comfy and warm.

Unique accommodation nestled in the pine trees. Slept with the stars overhead. Canvas dome was kept warm and snug from the fire place, heater and the heated beddings. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent- best salmon I have ever had.

The canvas dome was unique. Bed was wonderful, hot coco in the morning was class, breakfast was excellent, staff was personable and welcoming.

This was amazing place! Personnel was very kind and we were feeling very welcome. Dome itself was very clean and well equiped. All details were perfect. Coffee to the bed in the morning was nice extra. Breakfast was very unique and made from local ingredients. It was also very well introduced before we started eating, so nice. Bar was open in the evening and pizza there was like in Italy! Restaurant tiipii was amazing. In brief very unique experience made with passion!

Shame the bar wasn't open when all rooms were occupied. Nowhere nearby to go. Felt misled when we ordered a taxi and they offered to drive us back to the port. NOK270 to transport 4 people in a taxi, NOK800 was added to our account for them to transport 4 of us when it was presented as an offer to transport us not advised of a fee until we paid at checkout and too late to organise a taxi.

I booked this place last minute to surprise my brother and his girlfriend. They absolutely LOVED this place. Amazing staff, amazing food, amazing everything. Perfect for a couple, very romantic and immerse in nature. RECOMMENDED!

location is just perfect, it is small, private, and the owner and his employees are beyond pleasant people; very friendly, heartful people. amazing stay, wish we could stay longer. but if we return to this part of Norway anytime in the future, i am sure we will definetly stay here again.
