I wish it was a bit closer to the city center, we were going there by taxi (it’s quite a challenge to order a taxi), and going back by walk, which is about 50 min. Last night was crazy raining and very windy, the sound felt double because of the last floor, so we couldn’t sleep after 2.30am.

It was great unit on the last floor, very big and bright. Team was very responsive via WhatsApp. Unit was ready on time. Nearby area is nice and quiet.

I would have liked the coffee machine in the common area to be better maintained.

The apartment we stayed in was very light, bright and comfortable. The location is very close to multiple bus stops which can take you over all over the city.

The musty smell and dampness due to a leaky shower. This was resolved quickly and we were also offered an opportunity to move into another couple of rooms

Noise from above apartment very audible. Had to walk around to other side of apartment to wash hands after using toilet.

The only thing that could have been better, was it was very hot when we stayed and the windows only opened a small amount, but the staff provided an extra fan which helped cool the apartment.

Location was ideal, nice and quiet, and an easy 15 min walk into the centre of Amsterdam. The apartment was perfect, beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. Loved having the coffee machine. Bathroom was clean, and the shower was lovely.

The cleaning hadn't been done very well - there was a half-finished can in the fridge and bits of food on the tray in the oven. There are 3 ventilator outlets in the flat, but they were completely blocked with fluff and dust. I had to clear 2 of them, as there is no window in the bedroom, but the ventilator in the bathroom provides a bit of ventilation, if not blocked. There was a washer/dryer provided and what seemed to be a combination microwave/oven, but no instructions for anything and very unintuitive controls. The kitchen could do with some more crockery and glasses - the inventory said there should be 8 drinking glasses, but there were only 3. When we mentioned this to the hosts, they just asked why we needed more, rather than apologising, or thanking us for letting them know - which I found surprising.

A really good location on the canalside, just 10 minutes from the central station. A couple of stops on the number 48 bus and then just a 5 minute walk.

Nothing really to dislike, would possibly benefit from a couple of floor fans, (although we didn't actually ask for these during our stay). It was very warm/ humid, the windows are fairly small, open up slightly on a tilt mechanism, so not a lot of breeze came through, it became a little stuffy. However, this would not stop us from staying there again.

Lovely, clean modern apartment, we booked one bedroom (with sofabed) on second floor of building, Comfy bed, separate bathroom & toilet. Small but adequate, well stocked kitchen with coffee machine, kettle, fridge, etc. Lovely, tastefully restored building located in nice, quiet, residential area, 20-25 minutes walk to main centre, but lots of nice coffee shops, small bars, shops etc nearby (along the route). Very easy access from airport by train to the central station, bus is just a couple of stops away. Excellent trip updates from YAYS, detailed access instructions to building (via code/ keypad)., very secure. Plus contact numbers & useful info for our stay. Lovely vibe to the area, very friendly people, would love to stay there again.

There were no instructions on how to use the washer/dryer in the room. There was no drying horse to dry clothes.

Check in and the communication with staff where perfect. Nice apartment, very clean and as described in ad. Would recommend as base camp for Amsterdam visit!
