Very good little hotel. Sadly we only stayed one night, but we would have happily stayed longer. The rooms had their own airconditioning which really makes this easily one of the best places we stayed during our trip. Room was very clean and nicely furnished. Our room shared a balcony with 3 other rooms. Others didn't seem to use it so we had our breakfast there. :) Helpful and nice staff.

The stairs but they provide a lift which enabled me to go up and down / so no issues there

The breakfast was amazing continental breakfast cheese eggs yogurt fresh fruit salad coffee and fresh orange juice was amazing. The room was very clean, bathroom had amazing shower complimentary soaps and shower gel. Hairdryer was good. Living area in room had a coffee maker and the balcony was fantastic enabling me to sit outside and enjoy the view of the town and church. The staff were excellent in the main they understood my mediocre Dutch and could all understand English, and were very helpful. They helped me with local bus timetable to enable me with onward travel. The Al a carte menu and the snacks were brilliant. My family have visited this hotel for many years but not in awhile. No tea/coffee-making facilities in room. Dinner finished very early (8pm - half an hour earlier than advertised). Comparatively expensive.

Exceptionally helpful staff - I had problems accessing WiFi, and they really went the extra mile to get me online. Room was comfy, and I appreciated the insect screen over the window.

Hard beds, not suitable if you like a soft bed . Breakfast very expensive at €12.50 pp, especially since my son only ate 2 slices of bread!

The room was over 30 degrees during our entire stay. Even when opening a window and using a portable AC, the temperature never went down. The beds are simply singles pushed together-very uncomfortable to sleep on-the beds kept separating. Very stuffy, miserable and uncomfortable. This area is pretty much cash only. Cards (even debit) cards from outside The Netherlands will not work. Bring euros and lots of them.

The building is beautiful and quiet. The staff is charming and kind. Hotel and restaurant took my American credit card with zero issue, which you will find is rare in this town.

The rooms are quite small, but nicely decorated. We had a balcony that had building material on it and two mornings in a row 7.30 a.m we were awoken by drilling, banging of doors and builders on the balcony. It would have been Nice to have been informed about it prior to being woken up by it. I understand work needs to be done just a shame it clashed with our holiday.

The location is great, Roden is a lovely little town with links to Groningen by bus. The beds were comfortable and the shower was lovely. Parking on the Street was no problem. The staff were pleasant. Breakfast was good, plenty of good, coffee and juice. Was greatful that our two dogs could join us for breakfast.

The rooms appear to be a bit noisy. (Gehorig)The decor in the rooms might not be to everybody’s liking. Although my kids had a good laugh about the wall paper behind my bed.

Very nice, simple and clean hotel. Richt smack in the centre. Very helpful staff. Excellent value for money!

The room Wass far to small even for a single person. The shower was far to small no room to move. The toilet was to close to the side wall so little movement. The bed was under a over hanging shelf and against a slopping wall. Breakfast was a total let down u needed to order the day before and. Didn't have really anything on the order form. Not what I was led to believe from there write ups.
