shower door in studio is glass which wasn’t private.

Studio was perfect for our group. Staff were very helpful. Facilities were very good. Location is perfect as only 2-3 min walk to metro.

the coffeeshop was contactless on the ground level and it is difficult for foreigners to pay extra bank fees for a coffee. (non euro zone tourist)

The design and global mood of the hotel was beautiful. The different spaces were filled with people being happy and busy and it made the whole experience very dynamique and nice. The rooftop is a must see and the neighborhoud is very nice. Amsterdam being not so big, that area is very close to everywhere we wanted to go.

I liked everything but if I could change anything it would be waiting for hot tubs, it should be 30 min sessions. Rather than waiting and people have been in them over an hour.

Loved that the location was quiet but the bar was great for a bit of socialising.

the ladders to get to my bunk was a little uncomfortable.

The location was just a leisurely walk to city center. the hotel bar was really great with a very nice lounge area and the floor 7 bar had a great choice of beverages, as well as a fantastic view of the city. the rooms were compact and great for the short stay that I had.

Rooms to the Street are very noisy. Sleeping with window open, simply impossible. The shower leaks into the rest of the bathroom. If you prefer a private bathroom, maybe you should consider another Hotel. The sleeping room is just separated by a glass wall from the rest of the room. No worries if you have a shower. It could get very personal when it comes to other vital features of your body. Our room also had no wardrobe. Just two tiny shelves to store your belongings.

Close to the Metro. Team at Volkshotel is fantastic and very very friendly. Always helpful and has a great knowledge of all the surrounding area.

The system of privacy for the bathroom in the rooms is very particular. It's a metal sort of curtain that gives no privacy especially with the mirror in the bedroom facing the shower. As we weren't a family but a bunch a friends, it was a bit special even though nothing dramatic. Probably a cultural difference ;).

The rooms are really great and comfy. The rooftop bar with hot bath and sauna is definitely an extra value

I really loved this hotel the hot tubs on the roof are so good and you can look out at Amsterdam. The bar is great both in the lobby for a coffee and rooftop for a drink. The room was an amazing I have stayed here two times now and I love it truly great location right by a metro station you can also rent a bike which is what u did. The stay was great and the staff were super friendly!
