Met our needs. No complaints

Breakfast was basic but nice. Fruit. Cheese. Croissants. Eggs could have been warmer but glad they offered them. Quaint space to eat. Was nice breakfast was included. Room was cozy. Bathroom small but nice. Thought the hard bed would be an issue but my back did not bother me so I was comfortable. Easily picked up the 13 tram to Amsterdam Central to take the train elsewhere .

We had a room on the street, which was fun for views and hearing the life outside, but not so good for noise of the tram and celebrations. This doesn’t reflect on the hotel, though, and wasn’t a big problem. The location is also great, it was easy to walk to the museums and the center.

The breakfast was excellent, and the staff, also. I like that someone was in reception 24/7, they were very helpful with suggestions and maps.

I very close to Any direction you would like to. If it’s by train or walk . It’s not in the center but you have all the option . The room was clean , every day it’s feels like it’s your first day . The breakfast was great and gives all you need for the rest of the day. And all the employees were nice and careless.

The hotel was situated by a main road, however, our room was at the back and had a samll balcony that overlooked a quiet courtyard which was quiet and sunny. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was varied and appropriate.

The breakfast was just right and the coffee was so good! The location is close to many nice restaurants, shops, grocery store ,and public transportation. The room was comfortable and the bed was nice. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful with everything. Will definitely stay here again!

The room was pretty chilly and the thermostat was difficult to figure out. The bed was very firm and the pillows could have been better but the view to the courtyard was a nice surprise! Bathroom light was not very bright.

The location was great - lots of food options, groceries etc, plus it was 1 block from a tram line that took you to Centraal Station or Museums in about 15 mins. This was very convenient! The staff here were fantastic and went out of their way to assist at all times.

Our room was very dark and shower flooded the whole bathroom floor. But my sister had the room next to us and theirs was big and very light. It was perfect

The only complain would be the bed being a bit too soft, but in hotels that happens to me a lot, so I guess it´s my problem really...

Great little hotel, the staff were all very nice, location was great, not much else to add. Would definitely choose this place again, as the price tag was very nice, too :-)

Terrible lighting in the room and bathroom.

Very comfortable bed and pillow. Location was near the tram stop so it was quick and easy to get around. Ken was very helpful with directions and also suggested Food Hallen, which we enjoyed twice during our stay, for a late dinner upon our arrival. It was nearby, and had lots of food selections. Breakfast at the hotel was good.

The room was noisy during the day because of the traffic passing on the main road. It could be heard easily because the windows didn't isolate properly. Fortunately at night there are not many cars or people around.

The service was professional and kind, the room was well cleaned, the WiFi worked perfectly, breakfast was satisfying, the position was in a nice neighbourhood and good for a 30 mins walk from and to the train station.

Small comfortable hotel. Friendly staff, always ready to help. Excellent Wi-Fi. The main plus is that it is very clean! It’s nice when a three-star hotel has such snow-white towels and bed linen. The room was warm, there was a radiator (even in the bathroom) and air conditioning, so things that got wet in the rain dried very quickly. Another plus is the location. Walking distance to the center is only 15 - 20 minutes. The hotel is located on a street with trams. This did not bother me at all, but if you are sensitive to noise, ask for a room with windows facing the courtyard)).

E-bikes ridden ridiculously fast, thousands of bikes going too fast, dirty streets, litter. Bikes just dumped by roadside, getting past them at busy times was difficult. Guess we’re not used to the bustle, we were told that Amsterdam had 600,000 people each of them owned 2 bikes!

Location near route 13 metro line, near to restaurants, need to book to ensure table, Indonesian food popular choice. Breakfast in hotel was perfectly adequate except they can’t cook scrambled eggs, but the rest makes for excellent continental breakfast. Good budget hotel. we went to kerchenhof (tulips) and Van Gogh museum, achieved what we wanted. Water taxis were good and free. Need a city pass to ride the metro buses.

Wonderful, welcoming staff. They couldn’t do enough to accommodate you. Although I was several hours early for check-in they welcomed me with a cup of coffee and early checkin. Also, breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Hotel was located right at a tram stop that was just 6 stops from the Amsterdam Centraal train station and 4 stops from Dam square where transfers to other trains were easy. I definitely recommend the Larende Hotel for your stay in Amsterdam and would stay there anytime.
