Chill place to be at, great location.

    • Comfort Two-Bedroom Apartment
    • Stayed 2 nights

The walk from the reception desk to the apartment is not the most convenient coz we expected our apartment to be closer it was a rather messy walk in the rain with our luggage. The ventilation in the apartment wasn't the best, since it got a little hot at night, the small fan we had in the room wasn't the most convenient. It wasn't easy to prop open the window, pretty old.

Location was excellent. It was an simple and clean apartment. But, overall, I think in the main city small spaces are to be expected but the apartment suited our needs perfectly.

We stayed for 4 nights, unfortunately we didn't see any staff there, the toilet tap was leaking and we didn't want to go to the reception at the hotel, which is 500 meters from the apartments.

The area is very good, the apartment itself is good, you can get there by tram without any problems. The place is convenient, quiet, I can recommend it.

Nicer than a hotel room but had a few issues. The exhaust fan ran 24/7 and kept me awake most of the nights I was there. That and the several pizza deliveries at 3am. The stairs were very steep and skinny and I had a lot of trouble getting my suitcase up and down on my own from level 3. Little things like no tea towel supplied in the kitchen.

Lovely street with an adorable park on a canal on the corner. Lovely location in a suburban part of Amsterdam.

2 separate rooms were provided with good privacy. Location is good. But the stairs are very steep. Very narrow and steep. It was nearly impossible to take you bags up to 3rd floor if you are not physically fit. Other thing is they send me check in details at 5:40 pm. By the time I already walked to the room with my luggage with my bags. Then they told me I have to pick keys from the hotel which was far from room. If they send me details on time then I could save time and all the walk again to the hotel. If you have separate pick up location for keys the you should make sure to send details well on time.

Overall the apartment was very clean but a few little things stood out e.g. there was a piece of chewing gum stuck to the wall by one of the beds, the bath and kitchen sink didn't have a plug and there was limited cutlery and crockery. The stairs between the two floors of the apartment were really steep which was fine for us but would not suit a family with a toddler or anyone with accessibility issues - but we get the sense this is common to all apartments in Amsterdam that are set in historic buildings.

We had a beautiful top floor apartment which was organised over two floors, with three bedrooms and a beautiful lounge/diner. We are a family of 5 and there was so much space - it was brilliant! Also loved being able to watch the parrots in the treetops that the apartment was surrounded by. Beds were really comfortable.

    • Three-Bedroom Apartment with one double bed

Some basics for kitchen missing: no tea towels, no sponge, cutting knives were dangerously dull, not even 6 forks or glasses (should have extras of each cutlery item), no tongs or serving utensils, wine opener was wonky, only one (small) cutting board, no dishwasher soap, no oven mitts or hot pads. VERY weak WiFi. Often had to stand at the top of the stairs to be connected. Need to add a booster or something. Television did not work (so missed Euro Cup matches). Efforts were made to fix it after we reported it, but no resolution before we left. Would be good if all windows could be partially opened - a few only had the option of closed or wide open fully (like in upstairs left bedroom and 2 windows in Living Room).

Location was excellent and common space was set up nicely. Wonderful place to be together as a family. Staff were helpful and friendly. Shower was great.
