Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Excellent location. It's right in front of the beach. You can reach the beach in 2-3 minutes by foot. The views from the rooms are splendid. Rooms were very spacious and staff were kind. Breakfast was good.

The location is amazing, right on the end of the beach so it was quieter. It is located next to an electric scooter rental so easy to get around. Lovely terrace, view of the beach, and saunas. Liked how there was a store for food and drinks in the reception area.

NetherlandsI ate at the hotel restaurant. When it was time to pay I paid and got the receipt, not checking it until I got to my room, then finding out I paid the wrong receipt (and more than I was owed). It took over a month to get my money back, but I got it back and the staff was helpful. As I understood, the financial syncing between the restaurant and hotel isn't great, but at least it got solved.
When I came in, there was a problem. While my date was confirmed for March 27 to 28, the hotel got another month from Booking.com (check your interface please!). That was easily fixed, as I had proof of the confirmed dates. The room was more luxurious than I thought. There was a lot of room and more importantly, the bed was really comfortable. It was a very short stay, but it was comfortable. Also, this hotel is right next to the beach, so for those wanting to have a beach walk, you will enjoy this! I was way to tired after cycling 62km the day before, and 120km on the day itself when I checked in. ;) For those who go by car, the hotel has parking space, and it costs €15 a day if I remember correctly, which is a lot less than parking in the city itself (right next to it). I went by bike, and they have a place to stall the bikes, which is locked in the evening and opened in the morning.

The location of the hotel is perfect and right across from the beach! The hotel bar had great drinks and the staff was very courteous. The parking lot was full, but there was another lot across the street which was very convenient.

SpainThe shower was hot-cold-hot-cold-hot-cold. The bed linen was too small for the bed (but maybe this a cultural thing, this has been the case in the past also in Germany).
The staff were nice. The room was huge (more than enough for 3 beds and a cot (that we carried ourselves). The hotel is just in front of the beach. They had a nice detail with the kids (a bath bag with shampoo, lotion etc for kids)

Liked breakfast and views. Staff was friendly and buffet was really good because of the variation of food. Also my collega got fresh made eggs in his choice. Parking lot should be in price included - it's again quite some additional money what you dont even pay in Amsterdam Schipol...
