Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsInitially we parked in the designated Parking Garage P8, but getting to the reception we found that that was at an additional cost of € 19,- subsequently we asked to change that and NH cancelled the ticket and we parked outside on the street: FOC till 08:00 in the morning. It would have been nice to know before hand. Also Booking initially mentioned € 66,-, which changed to £ 60 and in the end it was € 83.27... very strange. Also my wife slipped in the bath and hurt her knee after showering due to the fact that the glass door was positioned too close to the inclined side of the bath and there were no anti-slip stickers.
The staff was kind and helpful. The food of the Bistro restaurant was good enough. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was good; All clean.

Emilia and Rachel from the reception they made my stay exceptional. Specially I would like to thank Emilia for her welcoming me to the hotel. Furkan and Alex from the hotel restaurant also they were very kind and helpful. Clearly this hotel values their staff. Really convenient to stay if you have a congress nearby. Oh the breakfast was also outstanding!

Effective night stay for a business trip. Nearby the highway, restaurant and kitchen open until late (10 PM), which isn't always the case in the Netherlands, night stand for last minute purchases (snacks, drinks), and also friendly staff. Very complete breakfast.

NetherlandsOur memories about the brekfast from previous stays did not coincide with the reality :) so it left a feeling of disappointmrnt. This + the fact that this is not a cheap place to stay is the reason for 7. Juices were vere far from bring natural. And the omelette was like piece of rubber. Rest of the breakfast was fine.

PortugalI didn’t notice that I had to pay for breakfast, even if that was totally on me , I was taken by surprise. Also the parking is payed from a certain time on and thats just sad.
The breakfast is quite expensive but to be honest it is very complete, had various choices for vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free fellows… Also so many healthy choices so I feel like it is worth it. About the rooms, they are quite comfortable and the bathroom was clean.
