Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeThey dont have many room types and do not have extra beds available. Only room to accommodate more people would be the triple which we got with a family with 2 kids. They do have cots available. Another small detail would be the toilet, it does not have a curtain or door to the shower, so depending on your comfort level if travelling with friends. Additionally, because of so, the wash up area outside the toilet does easily get wet, might need to ask for change or additional floor mats, which I'm sure they'd be happy to help.
Location: Choose this place for it's location, it is walking distance to Van Gogh museum which was important for us. It is also close to luxury international brands. The tram stop is close by which brings you within 10 minutes to the city center. Room: The room was minimal and basic in certain areas (e.g open hanging, open shower, no fridge) but high in style and well thought through in other area's (nice decor, plush beds, pillow menu, free bar snacks, good sound system. Breakfast: Great value for what it is, Small but mighty selection, loved their wide variety of drinks. They also cater to vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets. Staff: The BEST part of the stay was the staff, from the moment we checked in, they were helpful, warm and so kind and genuine. They really made our stay, they were wonderful with our requests and lovely to our children. Bonus: The garden area is a nice touch, beautiful and cozy to hang out in (when the weather permits), otherwise the living room area has a glass roof which allows for plenty of light. What a beautiful touch. Bonus 2: They have a wine & cheese selection available complimentary for guests in the late afternoon - for the price they offer I think they is a nice touch! Additionally they have a small cafe which you can get snacks and drinks available all the time, as they also run the concierge if they need help. Check in was easy and they allowed us to keep our luggage after check out. Overall, my choice of this hotel was for location, but in the end I was pleasantly surprised at what a great stay this was.

IsraelThe fact that there was no refrigerator in the room. The fact that the shower didn't have any door or curtain. The smell of breakfast that somehow came into the room through the toilet ventilation. The noise of breakfast preparation which we could hear early in the morning inside our room.
The room was very spacious and clean, location was good. The staff was nice and helpful. Happy hour was great.

ItalyI stayed for one night in this amazing hotel, the room was exceptionally clean and with natural light, the absence of carpet is an added value as I suffer of allergies. The design forniture is linear and basic with lovely hints. The bathroom is functional (don’t expect plastic-one-use complements like shower cap). Most of all I would like to thank the super kind staff (ciao Mariolina!) which was always available for any need. I am happy to have fond this perfect hotel in a strategic neighborhood with lovely restaurants and very close to Museums. I will come back soon!

PolandWe really enjoyed our stay. Location was ideal for us, because our goals were musuems (2 mins walk) and cruise on canal (10 mins walk). Room was big and nice. There was water, tea and coffee, even some snacks. Also there were cosmetics such as shampoo, body wash gel, hand soap and body lotion. Plus hair dryer. There is option with breakfast, But we Got only coffee in morning. You can leave lagauge on the day of arrival and departure free of cost. Stuff is very nice. You check in and out by yourself on computer, easy and fast. I really recomend!

United StatesFabulous location - walking distance to museums, restaurants, shopping and public transportation. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Easy check-in and check-out. And the BEST pillows of any hotel - with a choice of 3 different pillows! If you're staying there, don't miss the complimentary wine and cheese each day. AND if you opt out of daily cleaning service, they will plant a TREE :)

United StatesNo shelves or counter space for toiletries, no closet, very limited space to hang clothes (on a bar), very small and few knobs to hang towels.
Location, location, location! So convenient to the airport bus, the tram, the concert hall, and the museums! The hotel itself was quite comfortable, with plenty of room on our triple.

IrelandThere was no coffee-machine in the room as promised, but for me it didn't matter at all, as I don't drink coffee late in the evenings when I returned. Happy Hour with glass of complimentary wine selection in the evenings in the lobby was thankful instead.
Location was more than perfect !!! Also, I was given a room on the 4th floor, and the view was so beautiful, if I looked to the right, I saw the Concertgebouw, the Museum Square and at the end of it the building of the beautiful Rijksmuseum. Very inspiring! And a very interesting cappuccino - beautifully foamed!

FinlandRoom could have been bit cleaner. We arrived late, so I cancelled the daily clean-up for the first day only, but never got it for the rest of the stay either, even if asked for it. However, the staff was so nice & helpful that I'm positive it was just miscommunication :)
Excellent location! Bus line 397 from Schiphol stops almost in front of the hotel and frequent tram lines to center are within few hunder meters, as well as the museum district. Lovely personnel and nice common living room to hang out in. Room was spacious and beds comfortable.
