Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Breakfast was lovely. Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. Location on water very nice too with great view from balcony.

United KingdomOur check in took quite some time due to training, which was absolutely fine at the time, but we later realised that we actually weren't given any information on the hotel, facilities, breakfast times etc. We also noticed later during our stay that guests received complimentary drinks during check in. Not a huge concern...but we hadn't. I had also arranged for a surprise 'Prosecco Package' which was very nicely done and was a nice surprise for my wife and a great start to the vacation - Later on though we found out that other guests were receiving this package as a complimentary 'gift' when celebrating special occasions at the hotel. Again, not a huge problem but it was my wife's bday and it felt like we'd missed out.
A very nice hotel with great communal space and spa facilities. We loved our room (Top floor - Great view) and felt very comfortable during our stay. The breakfast was very good, staff were very helpful and we would recommend visiting the bar at night for some interesting cocktails and a nice view. All in all, very impressed and we would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the City.

United KingdomWe chose a water view room and the sun hit the room all day. No aircon in the room made it extremely hot and uncomfortable. A fan was provided which did make it slightly better but not the same as aircon.
The building and the interior design of hotel is amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Celebrated my partners birthday while we were there and came up to the room with balloons and chocolate. Very nice touch to the stay. We ate there a couple of times. Food was fantastic. Out the way of the Centre of Amsterdam but very easy to get too. 5 minutes on the number 26 tram from over the bridge outside the hotel to Amsterdam central. Small gym and pool are great. Breakfast is very good!

Absolutely amazing hotel, never experienced anything like it before, the indoor gardens were fabulous, it was like bringing the outdoor in. The ambience was just so relaxing, ethically thought about in design of the hotel which these days is so very important. The rooms were exceptionally clean, roomy, bathroom so big, even having a coffee making machine, and the bonus of a balcony over looking the river was a bonus. Gorgeous swimming pool with loungers for those who just wanted to relax and watch the world go by. Now the breakfast, I have been to some beautiful hotels all over the world, and hand on heart I can honestly say never have I seen such an array of foods, from fresh fruit, cereal, breads, cakes, cold buffet, hot buffet, and all cooked to perfection. There was an outside area where you could have a meal too. Staff were fabulous, so pleasant, welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. My grandson said it was amazing 👏.

Beautiful hotel by the water. Liked all the Indonesian features, plus the environmental concerns. Bus and tram service very close to the hotel. Great breakfast buffet included with the room price. We got a bottle of Prosecco left in our room to celebrate our wedding anniversary!

Icelandbreakfast was mediocre at best, everything felt overcooked. It was out of place for a hotel that seems to keep high standards.
Hotel Jakarta has a unique vibe. The interior felt very welcoming and I like that they value design so much. It's present in every aspect of this hotel. You walk the hallways and you feel calm, at piece. In general a very wholesome experience at this hotel which is rare.

All the staff were excellent, they made you feel welcome, special, friendly and helpful. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast…all very fresh, tasty and extremely good quality especially the in house baked pastries and bread, not to mention the Salmon Egg Benedict. We also enjoyed the skybar with great indonesian fusion cocktails overlooking the fantastic harbour. The hotel is also super clean and spotless everywhere. Location was very convenient to Central Station, only 2 stops bus rides or tram. Thank you for our anniversary surprise.

NetherlandsDuring our stay, it was over 30 degrees, and the room was very hot. Because of a special cooling system, our room didn't cool down and remained very warm. We had hoped for a double bed with a single mattress, but we got two separate beds pushed together.
Fantastic hotel. Very well finished, and every detail has been considered. Friendly staff, beautiful lobby, excellent restaurants, and perfect rooms.
