It looks like you cannot adjust the temperature in the room, it was set to "central" and you can't increase or decrease it. So it felt a bit cold to me. This was the only thing that I did not like.

Nice place for a short stay. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Very centrally located. I had a single room, which was spacious and felt cozy.

Loud wedding party downstairs,not a big deal but was til 12:30 loud music,maybe 11:00 would have been a better time to stop for the other guests.

We had a more expensive room,but there was a jacuzzi bath and a super view of the market square.Close to the cathedral and popular terrace area.

It was quite expensive. I don’t know if it was expensive when i booked the room or it was expensive always. Breakfast would be better. It was not very bad, but I would like to have more variety.

It was located in the center so location was good. It has a very good restaurant inside the hotel. Beds were comfortable. It was a good stay for me.

Size of the room moderate. Reception could use an renovation, seems a bit old. Parking is not in the hotel but in a parking garage opposite side.

Rich breakfast buffet which includes everything you could wish for a good start to the day. Rooms are okay, cozy and offer what you would need for 1-3 days stay. Hotel is located next to the market square, so couldn't be any better. From the hotel bar you can see the vibrant life of the city

The only few things I could comment on that they need to take more care of is cleaning the carpet, and make the ventilator in the toilet work properly.

Our twin-bed room was right at the front of the hotel, so we had a lovely view of the market-square. With the windows up it might have been noisy but windows closed was so quiet we didn't even hear the market being built up in the morning. The location of this hotel is perfect: about 10 mins from the station, but right in the centre of shopping streets, etc. The room itself had a carpet (some like this, I don't) and a busy wall decoration. It also had a table with 2 chairs and a fridge, plus TV. Bathroom is good, separate toilet, and two fab-size twin beds that were wonderful for a good night's sleep! Staffs were very helpful, there are lifts and there's a large bar area where you can also have food.

Only one small window in the corner room with blinds semi-permanently set up in a way that blocked sun. Bad view from our room. Pillows were large and too fluffy, causing a bit of neck pain.

It was very difficult to find as there is no sign saying Golden Tulip. It is Hotel Central. Fortunately a friend had been there before and said to go around the back to the side street which felt a bit seedy. If this is the main entrance it should be signed and made to feel more welcoming when you look down the laneway. The front doors were locked which was also odd and no sign to say how to get it. The style of the room is not relaxing -conflicting patterns and colours, but I think there's an upgrade in progress.

Is in the best location in the centre of the old town. Staff were friendly. Food in the restaurant was good. This is not a tourist town but a place for locals and business meetings. So you can step out of the tourist rat race. No souvenir shops just streets and lanes of boutique shops for quiet wandering. Have been in winter and summer and always an easy place to spend time when everywhere else is crowded.

It was more expensive than we would normally pay for a hotel, but the comfort and convenience were worth it.

The location was perfect; in the centre of the city but very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent, because it was a very hot weekend. Breakfast was very good. The parking arrangement was very good.
