The cleaning staff is meticulous. The room was freshened up daily. Beautiful garden and right next to the canal. Hospitality staff were knowledgeable and helpful.

The grounds and the location. It's in a beautiful location on the river, close enough to town but still in a quiet place. We hired some bicycles from the hotel to get around, very reasonable priced. Breakfast was more than sufficient to. All up a great place to stay for a few nights.

Junior suite on two levels, has the second level not reached by the air conditioning and if it’s hot outside it is hot also there.

Position, not too far from Amsterdam and Utrecth. Very nice and very quite. Doing the breakfast outside is awesome during the sunny morning.

We felt the hotel had delusions of grandeur in general. The grounds were lovely but not huge. The restaurant was good but not amazing. The reception staff were quite curt, the girl who showed us where to park our bikes scarcely lifted her eyes from her phone, service was slow at dinner (though the girl who served us was refreshingly smiley) and there almost no-one around at breakfast which was pleasant but nothing special considering the cost. The strange arrangement of shower and sink being in the bedroom rather than a separate ensuite was odd and the toilet had no sink in it - not good for hygiene in my opinion. There was nowhere to put a hand towel which seemed odd for such a ‘designed’ room. Overall, not really value for money or the relaxing pampering we’d hoped for.

Beautiful building set in a garden with a waterfront. A bike shed available. Very comfortable and spacious room in the annexe. Lovely terrace for dining in the evening. Good dinner.

Wasn't something that I didn't like! I would love to see when I'm there next that they have a nice swimming pool sauna jacuzzi...there is so much space that can be used for good things...

They provided tea and coffee in the room, but no milk! One slight annoying thing, was the automatic light in shower, it took an age to turn off when we went to bed and was frustrating coming on if you use the sink in the night!

Good variety for breakfast. Beautiful location alongside the canal. Very relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Even though we were not in the main building the anexe was built to a high standard and the rooms very spacious.

Internet loading speed was too slow! Electrical charge stations in the parking of the hotel do not support some of the RFID cards.

A wonderful and charming boutique hotel in lovely surroundings. The restaurant is very nice: excellent food. The breakfast was great. The staff wonderful. The hotel room was perfect: great bed, shower was wonderful. And the interior design of the hotel is lovely.

Overall, not sure about the value for money. It was a very expensive one night stay for a comfort room, dinner and breakfast - everything was nice, but not really wowed by the room or food quality. Also thought the grounds would have been more expansive but beyond the river, the hotel is wedged between 2 main roads.

Beautiful estate, with well maintained grounds and some stand out features e.g. the restaurant area with its all-glass structure, lovely pond, cute tea house, lovely reception building, modern and well air-conditioned rooms (very appreciated as we had quite a warm day), and the property is right on the river. Also happy with the friendliness of the staff.

Really a spectacular place to stay. The grounds are beautiful right down to a beautiful canel/river (not sure which), with boats to rent or be hauled around on. We arrived by bike and were immediately taken care of and bikes stored. Staff were wonderful. Dinner superb.

Very nice garden facing one channel. Perfect to sit outside and being able to work in the good weather. Nice park/natural reserv/forest (?) on the other side of the road to walk/run.
