Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Good location only a 15min walk to the centre of Amsterdam. Good enough to get a Uber out off the city without having to go through all the side streets and close enough to walk in to the city as we did

MalaysiaWe booked a private room for 4, and the room is on third floor. There are no lift at the hotel, and the steps are quite steep. It definitely is a great hostel, it provides a place to rest, but don't expect anything more than that.
The service is not too bad. The reception suggested places to go around the city. They provided laundry service for €11, which is reasonable compared to a self-service laundry shop. The hotel is also really close to the Heineken Experience and restaurants.

United KingdomIt was an old room that didn't have a great view. A TV would have been a good addition. The stairs were awful. If you are travelling with a lot of luggage or planning on not being sober for your entire trip - I would definitely avoid this place.

IrelandThere was some hair on the bedsheets and a couple of small random stains? Nothing crazy, kind of what you’d expect in a hostel. We didn’t know until we arrived but they have no lift and we were on the 3rd floor, the stairs were steep and tbh unsettling to climb up and down. One of our group had a fractured leg, he could still walk but was not ideal to climb 3 flights of stairs each day.
Location lovely and beside an ALDI which was very handy, staff were so friendly! Beds were pretty comfortable and we got our own bathroom which was nice. Price was incredible!

IrelandThe stairs to the rooms were steep but it's like that all throughout Amsterdam so it's not a unique issue. Some of the people I traveled with didn't personally like the beds but I found them comfortable.
Really enjoyed the accomodation we stayed in a room for 5 as a group. The room was clean and the bathroom looked brand new location was alright it was beside the metro and tram so travel was easy. It's a very short walk to the Heineken brewery and museums. For the price it was great and I'll definitely be back. Closing note the staff was lovely

Swedenthe walls are slim in the rooms. so you con here some other visitors. nothing to worry about, just to be prepared for that. a bigger closet could be nice. but for a short stay it is perfect. i wish you would announce that you should come with your own lock and keys.
very good and simple rooms. very nice for the bought. nice clean good Wi-Fi and nice people. location id great. its quite and not next to the city main bars and entertainment, so everything is nicer. I think that a mini fridge in the room will be very appreciated.

ChinaThe wall was thin so I often heard other guests speaking loudly at night, which was annoying. The hot water in the shower was unstable and once the water was basically just warm and I had to finish my shower very quickly. A 10 euro cash deposit was required for the key card, which was fine and you could get it back when check out, but if you don't live in Europe and want to spend all the cash before leaving this would be a pain.

TurkeySince it is a budget hostel they can offer more things in loby such as free coffee , kettle and more kitchenware. Our room was on 3rd floor and stairs are not easy , it is not recomemded for families with kids.
Hotel is really cost effective. It has great location and inside city you do not need any public transportation. Room was really clean and it has enough space.
