Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsEasier if the shower has a cover or door, now the bathrooms gets a bit wet which has to be dried with the floor wiper and after with towel. Not a big issue, but it would certainly add a little more comfort
Nice hotel with rooms that offer the basics and a bit more. Temperature is easy to regulate and sounds mostly stay out, also from the streets below. Breakfast is of good quality, which is always a nice addition!

The welcome was excellent. The receptionist was pleasant, efficient, attentive and most helpful. The place was smartly decorated, quiet, well maintained, relaxed and very clean. Our room was spacious. The air conditioning (despite 28C outside) was first rate. The facilities for easily and securely storing our bikes were super.

Fine hotel in down town Enkhuizen right next to the Koepoort. Private parking opposite the hotel. Services are good, most likely the best you can find in this relatively small town. Good (Dutch) breakfast.

Lovely staff, very big room, good breakfast and nice workout room, corner bath was lovely. The location is ideal to walk into the center leisurely.

NetherlandsThe only 1 thing we didn't like was the size of the room. The pictures on the website give an impression of a much larger room in which you can walk around, it is the opposite. I had to be quite creative where to put the suitcase otherwise I couldn't open the bathroom door. This is not a problem, but then mention this on the website or put different pictures so that expectations are properly managed.
The personal care and service of each staff member was outstanding, super warm, friendly and personal. We liked the cleanliness, the decoration on the walls, the materials used everywhere in the hotel. The quality of the bed is excellent. The breakfast was value for money and the staff constantly and immediately replenished any missing items.

NetherlandsDuring night you needed to close the windows due to noise in the street (we had room at the main street). We had four pillows but none of them was nice, they were all too big.
Room was very spacious. Nice bathroom with bubblebath. Brekfastroom is very comfortable. Breakfast food very good and more than enough service.

SpainThere is a clock tower outside some of the bedroom windows which chimes on the hour every hour all night. I woke up every hour.
A great hotel with friendly staff in a good location with ample parking. The reception and dining area are very nicely furnished, the bedrooms are nice and functional. Very comfy beds.
