    Crunchy mattress protector

Excellent location, right in the historic centre, very close to the Dom Tower and canal. Love the tower bell singing. The e-key works well. Powerful shower. During our three-day stay, we went to a few recommended eateries, Anna’s Pancakes, Ted’s, and an Indonesia restaurant Blauw, all serving excellent foods! Thank you for the recommendation.

Bell noice during the night. It is more like an airbnb and less like a hotel.

Very good location in the Center of Utrecht. Clean room. Nice view to the street and bell tower.

Stairway was quite steep so people with disabilities might find it hard to utilize this hotel.

Lovely, spacious room with balcony. View was amazing - seeing both the Domtower and another belfry. I loved the clock bells ringing the time. Easy to walk to - between train station, hotel, and area around Domtower. Manager was lovely, friendly.

    Querky but comfortable place

The room was facing the church tower with bells which kept tolling every 15mins. Not ideal if you are hoping for a good night's rest or can't wear earplugs. The stairs to the rooms are extremely steep, I couldn't imagine myself carrying a heavy suitcase up to the top floor!

The room was of great size with a very comfortable bed. The shower had good water pressure despite being located on the top floor. I really appreciated that the hotel provided earplugs for the stay cause without them I wouldn't have slept a minute. The room was very well equipped

If you have problems climbing stairs or with noise during the night (the church bell ringing every 30min) I do not recommend this place.

Everything clean but small. Very nice and central. We got the rooftop room which was very small, from the pictures it looks like the other rooms are slightly bigger. It is an okey room for 1-2 nights maximum. Very narrow and steep stairs. I Do not recommend this place if you have problem to climb stairs.

The church bells that ring non stop… not the fault of the hotel.. and they did provide ear plugs but it wasn’t ideal.

Location is perfect! Really clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay!

The sockets were hard to find, we wanted to charge our phones and it took us 10 minutes to find them under the drawers next to the bed which is not intuitive at all.

The room was very clean and the bathroom was nice.

It would have been nice to have a second stool or a chair in the room for both people to be able to sit down. Also, we arrived on a Monday when reception was closed, so there was nowhere to leave bags until you can access your room at 15.00. That was a bit of a pain.

A beautiful room, very good size and bright and airy, with lovely deco.

It would have been really nice if the host let guests know that there is no parking available anywhere nearby. Or give a hint where it would be possible. We came in a car and had to drive through the mall to get there. After a long time, we found parking 20 minutes away. The bathroom is good for one person only at a time. And it was not a good communication experience. Everything was by standard mail, even when we asked specific questions. Staircase is definitely not for older persons.

Great location, great bed, fairly big room

The lack of a table and chair in the room. The narrow winding stairs to get to the top floor, with no lift.

The location, the comfortable bed and the well-designed bathroom, and the eccentric attic room

Could have been staff at the hotel. No one replied to an email I sent before arrival.

Very comfortable bed. Everything I needed in the room. Reasonably quiet on top floor. Miserable outlook at rear but I wasn’t there for the view! No staff on site at the hotel. All digital which worked. The breakfast at Ann & Max cafe was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. Delightful place.

Nice hotel in a great location. Hotel is on a pedestrian street and is in close walking distance to the canals with plenty bars and restaurants. Steep staircase to get up to the rooms, so something to bear in mind if you have a big bag.

it's worth noting that the stairs are quite narrow.

The room at Cosy Pillow is not only spacious and well-arranged but also remarkably quiet, offering a serene atmosphere for a relaxing stay. The hotel provides numerous thoughtful amenities and personal touches, such as the welcoming presence of incense. Situated right in the heart of charming Utrecht's town center, the boutique hotel enjoys proximity to an array of bars, restaurants, and shops, making it an ideal location for exploring the vibrant surroundings. One standout highlight for me was the exceptional breakfast experience at Anne & Max. The breakfast, cooked fresh and served with a smile, stands out as one of the best I've ever had at a hotel. This alone makes a stay at Cosy Pillow memorable. Given the overall positive experience, I am looking forward to booking a night at Cosy Pillow on my next visit to Utrecht.

Missed the top up of coffee creamer, washing wine glasses and shower gel. Getting larger travel bags up the stairs takes some energy but is worth it.

Perfect location, welcoming staff, beautiful rooms, good attention to details such as a bottle and wine opener, super comfy bed and pollows :)
