Everything was great, so nothing to improve on.

Great place to stay with lovely restaurant and staff. Evening meal was fantastic and the breakfast was too. They sorted out a place to store our bikes overnight.

Could have better coffee facilities in the room.

Nice building from outside, restaurant was warming with very good food & selection of drinks. Room was adequate, clean and quiet, loved the metal rack system, excellent for all your motorcycle gear all in one place. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Carpark area is at the back of the property which is secure. It's only a 10min walk to the small town square with restaurants and a pub.

The only downside, and it’s a minor grumble, were the young staff were quite friendly with each other and approaching them was a little awkward as it seemed you were interrupting their conversation. Only a minor thing and this seemed to disappear when older staff were on duty.

Oudewater is a wonderful little town and a real find. This hotel didn’t disappoint. The room was comfortable, breakfast was excellent and good parking was onsite. The process for checking in was quick and easy and the staff were pleasant. There are a number of excellent restaurants a short walk away and the town is extremely enjoyable to walk around. We will certainly return.

The bathroom was quite small, but well equipped. Not a problem for me and to be expected when you are converting old buildings whilst still retaining charm. It’s also worth saying, I think I booked one of the smaller rooms, so this isn’t a complaint.

No bike store but not a problem all very safe outside

Fantastic hotel perfect location. Reception staff were great. Breakfast had a tremendous choice of hot and cold food. We were 9 cyclists and all enjoyed the 1 night stay

Perfectly functional and very clean, but basic room. Breakfast was really good, there was enough parking on the street and behind the hotel, and I enjoyed walking around the town. There is also a small grocery store nearby.

It was easy to find. The room was very pleasant and comfortable. The restaurant was very good and there was a very good choice for gluten free, with warm rolls available with dinner and at breakfast. Not a gluten free menu but meals were adapted where necessary.

Nothing to say really. Expensive perhaps, but that the Netherlands in general.

Beautiful but quiet location, great staff, genuine welcome. We were travelling with a dog by bicycle and the staff did everything to make sure that our dogs needs were met and that we had a very comfortable stay. We were especially pleased that the hotel staff.made sure that our bicycles were secure inside the hotel overnight. That said, the location is lovely and quiet and the bikes would have been safe outside anyway.

Breakfast was so-so. The bikes needed cleaning (bird droppings). Bedroom was attractive and bed was comfortable but the room lacked space to unpack or set luggage - no drawers or luggage racks.

Great location in a cute town, easy to tour the surrounding area and close to the downtown historic center as well as a grocery store. Hotel had bikes and e-bikes for rent, which was an appreciated convenience. Good restaurant and wine selection, including decent half bottles, nice to split sitting in the hotel’s patio at the end of the day. Huge bathroom with good shower.

I love this beautiful city. I’m from Ontario and used to live in The Netherlands. I had not been back in 22 years and loved doing all the tourist things.

We could hear the people in the other room and from the corridor we could hear their bathroom (shower and toilet flush).

This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. We chose the hotel for the breakfast and free parking, but in fact enjoyed so much more than that. The restaurant was great, the breakfast was generous, and the parking convenience was excellent.

A bit pricey, but not unusual for the location. Parking does not exists, we had to look around. People should receive information about the heating, we got scared for a few minutes until we figured it out.
