Since quaint property, room sizes are very small with some having small refrigerators & others not.

Great Location! Easy walk 15 mins to Rotterdam central station. 30 mins walk to cruise port. Small quaint property with wonderful & helpful staff.

Structure of hotel is somewhat old and too confining. Through out the day lots of noise through the corridors from guests or staff

The room was slightly outdated. You can see the age on the fixture & fittings. Breakfast was not bad, but below expectations based on other reviews.

Very good value for money, good location close to the city center and Boijimans depot. Public transportation just few meters far away (both bus and tram). The balcony with a beautiful view to the inner courtyard garden & was very quiet.

as the stairs were steep it was best to use the lift but it was very slow. some of the lights in the room didn't work. short on storage space.

Was a bit noisy at morning sometimes but a pair of earplugs do the trick.

Clean, cosy rooms and typically Dutch. Dont expect a fancy hotel, this is a historical building with all the charm of this kind of buildings. Unique and comfortable

I only had one problem and it's perhaps not really fair to include it. I was there in boiling heat (record-breaking stuff) and the room was roasting! I had the balcony door open all night but the fan was linked to the light, so that wasn't very practical. It's unrealistic to expect the hotel to be prepared for his level of heat (nowhere is!) but perhaps a fan NOT linked to the light would be a good addition to the room.

Great location, lovely staff, nice rooms, new, clean bathroom and good breakfast. This hotel is a great little find. It's central but located on a lovely, quiet back street. The staff are very nice. Breakfast is standard hotel stuff but with the addition of freshly cooked eggs, made at your request.

A bit old furniture, but it doesn't make value if you wanna explore the city and stay at the hotel only at night.

The nice hotel to stay close to the city center, well located with two parks nearby and private parking. Very nice and polite staff. Good price. I definitely will stay here next time.

Great location! This hotel is pretty basic but the staff is great, the location super convenient, and there were many amenities for the weary traveler to take advantage of (laundry, bar, breakfast, etc). Not 5 star, but It’s a solid property that I’d stay at again.

The only thing was the fact that the rooms are so hot, especially the bathroom. We did appreciate the extra fan in the room as we used it at night time.

Great location. All good - clean, tidy. Lovely to have a fridge. We saw lots of staff and they were all friendly, kind and helpful. It’s a good team. And is was a quiet area which is a bonus for the middle of a city. We enjoyed our 5 nights.

We would have liked a tea and coffee station in the room.

Very well situated yet in a quiet street. We enjoy the fact that there is someone at reception 24/7 so there are no worries about checking in with codes, etc. The room was a bit old-fashioned which was actually quite sweet and very cosy.

Room seemed a little outdated but at that price really not a problem!

Great value for money, very friendly staff. I was offered to leave my luggage after check out. Location was very pleasant, too. Very near to pubs, restaurants an d Al sorts of attractions, but very silent in the room. Right next to De Nieuwe Institut and Depot Boijmans van Beuningen.

- The bathroom could have some improvements. Even though it works ok, the water heater makes a looot of noise in the entire room and the shower is weak. There is no curtain or glass in the shower, so the bathroom gets wet as well. Nothing that massively compromised our experience, just a suggestion. - Lift was not working

- The hotel is simple and traditional, but it does the job. Effective for what we needed - Because of the jazz festival in town, it was busy and kind of messy when we got there, but they offered a free upgrade to us. - Clean and spacious room, bed comfortable - Breakfast was good, mainly bread and (packed) toppings - Cute quiet street - Close to the central station and plenty of restaurants and options (15min walking)
