Nothing if you can manage the stairs the penthouse room is a treat.

Staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful with any questions you may have. The hotel is stunning a beautiful traditional Amsterdam house. Our room the penthouse was done up in a classic Dutch style and came with a roof terrace with amazing views over the city. The fridge was nicely stocked up with thoughtful food and drinks. The room was clean and comfortable with gorgeous flowers provided. Hotel is in an easy location for getting around the city. Can’t wait to stay here again to see I different room. Definitely recommend

WiFi coverage was very poor. I believe there is one router that is being shared by multiple apartment/rooms so if you are planning on traveling for work or Work from the flat, you may end up having to use your data as a hotspot which we unfortunately ended up doing.

We booked the garden apartment which is beautiful and magical. Perfect for a couple or a special occasion. Service was spot on and Andrew was very accommodating

We loved everything but it is worth noting that like many homes in Amsterdam the stairs are very steep.

We were on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. That said, our luggage was carried up and down for us so it wasnt an issue.

The location is absolutely perfect and the property is stunning. The manager, Ferry, is the most helpful and friendly host. He made us feel very welcome and was very accomodating adjusting our early checkin time.

Loved everything but be aware that there are a lot of stairs. The staff will carry your luggage up and down for you but a certain amount of walking is required for the penthouse apartment.

Everything was outstanding! It is rare that anything exceeds my expectations and this blew them out of the water. Book here - don’t even think twice.

Not something negative but something to keep in consideration: no lift and stairs are a bit narrow to climb.

Perfect location, amazing service, every minute detail in the apartment starting from toiletries, linen, bed etc was well thought out and high quality. Kitchen was fully equipped and well stocked up for guests to not even need to visit a grocery store. You can’t expect a more friendly and responsive host than Ferry.

Nothing not to like.

This is probably the best hotel/apartment experience we have ever had. I have traveled a lot and stayed in many different types of places, but this is something extra. We actually spent a lot more time in our room (the Garden room) than we usually do on city trips just because it was so relaxing just to be there. I mean, how often do you get to live next to (and see through massive windows ) your own private jungle! The whole place is super nice and you can tell that our host Ferry really had been spending time and energy on details.

This hotel is absolutely amazing - it exceeded our expectations by far. The rooms are very clean and tidy as well as beautifully decorated and invite the guests to also spend some time lounging. The location is great and quite central. The host was incredibly friendly & forthcoming. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and I will definitely try to go there again.

What could be better than living in an art gallery? Everything was so beautiful and peaceful. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the garden outside the window was also splendid. The room was always decorated with colorful flowers. So good.

Perfect stay, we arrived late due to train problems, but Ferry didn't mind and waited for our arrival that largely exceeded the check-in time. He showed us the accomodation and also prepared appetizers and food for our stay (way more than what you would expect from an hotel). Overall, it was one of my best romantic stay in a Hotel.

The steep Dutch steps were the only drawback, but, when in Rome! It definitely added to the authenticity.

Situated right next to Vondelpark, easy access to buses and trams, a short walk to wonderful cafes and the museum district, as well as the designer stores area. The hotel room was clean and cozy, and the A/C unit worked beautifully on warm days. The balcony overlooked the park, and Ferry, the owner was so kind and responsive.

I'm really grateful for all the services provided by Ferry. We arrived much earlier than the normal check-in time after a 14-hour flight with my mother, and Ferry was incredibly supportive in accommodating our request for an early check-in. The room was simply perfect, equipped with all necessities of life, even a dishwasher. Ferry also provided snacks and beverages, and the cleanliness of the room, towels, amenities, and bedding was impeccable. The location and the view from the window were outstanding! I'll definitely come back next year!!!

The location was ideal for a first time visitor to Amsterdam. You are located within a convenient short walk to the museum quarter and close the 9 Streets district. Also plenty of nice restaurants in the area. Ferry was very friendly and offered plenty of excellent advice.

Location: the hotel is very well located. It is only 2-3 minutes walk away from the really busy area yet remains quiet all day long. Service: very warm and attentive. I got some really good suggestions for restaurants as well. Facilities: very modern interior in a historical building. It feels the renovation was done very recently.
