Our host Andreas is such a wonderful warm person to be around, from the moment we met and got a fun tour of the apartment until he gave us a lift to the airport. We instantly felt calm, safe and secure in the apartment, started to call it home straight away. The location is great, trams nearby, a nice park on the other side of the street and a canal just behind it. It's in a quiet area, got lots of good sleep there as well. The apartment itself is fully equipped and functional, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lots of natural light as well in the morning at the kitchen area which was definitely an added bonus. Honestly one of the best apartments we have stayed ever. Definitely not a goodbye but see you again.

Andreas provides an exceptional hosting experience: - His apartment is well located, extremely well maintained, clean and equipped. - It is spacious, with light flowing both in the bedroom and living room/kitchen space - It is very central and yet quiet Add to that Andreas' kindness, constant availability and reactivity and his willing to go the extra mile for his guests and you'll know you've found the place you want to come back to: - You'll find all the necessary basics for cooking - Extra fruits, snacks and drinks will make it easy to arrive and settle without having to rush out for food - All sorts of guides and touristic information are available - Andreas' bounty even includes offering to pick you up near the train station, showing you an ancient mill and flexing around each other's constraints in terms of arrival and departure. Just remarkable hospitality!

Nothing, the whole experience was top drawer

Andreas our host was absolutely brilliant right from the original contact 4 or 5 days before we set off all the way through our trip, He went over and beyond what was needed to make sure we had a top stay. It was my wife's special birthday and Andreas had gotten us a special cake, flowers and wine as well as lots of other goodies to surprise us on arrival.

We loved everything!

Absolutely everything. Good location, immaculate apartment and a truly wonderful man who owns the house. He had everything needed once you got there for us such as coffee, water, pop. This man went way way beyond to make sure we had nothing to worry about except have an enjoyable time. I would recommend this apt. to anyone. Location is excellent. You can pretty much walk everywhere.

That we didn’t get to stay longer

Andreas and his wife were the best hosts I have ever encountered, Andrea’s collected us from the train and took us to the apartment, he also left us back to the train station on departure, he offered to take us to the windmills, an offer we will take up next time, nothing at all was too much trouble for them, the photos don’t do it justice, they left wine, snacks, toiletries, fruit at no extra charge, and the apartment is stunning, exceeded our expectations

- This apartment has to be one of the best places to stay in Amsterdam. The apartment is spacious, modern, clean, and fully equipped with everything you might need. There is a complimentary snacks and drinks bar that will blow your mind. The beds are comfortable and super clean. The whole place smelled like cleanness and freshness all the time. There is also a patio if you want to get some fresh air without leaving the apartment. - The location is amazing, a 15-minute walk to Dam Square, 20 minutes to the central station, and less than 5 minutes to the nearest train station. There are many shops and supermarkets in the area which is great. And also there is a lovely small park overlooking the canal right in front of the apartment. - The best thing about this place is the amazing host, Andreas, when I first booked the place I read the comments and everyone was impressed by Andreas for his hospitality and kindness, when I met Andreas I understood why all the positive comments, he is literally the best host I have ever met. He is so kind, funny, and generous and he will be there whenever you need him. He gave us a free tour of a Windmills location outside Amsterdam and even gave us a free ride to the airport when we checked out.

Andreas (our host) was our favourite part of the property. We have never, (and will never), experience a host who treats you like family the way Andreas did. We will never forget you. Nan keeps mentioning you. We LOVED; snacks stocked up in the fridge/pantry. Wine, chips, soft drinks, coffee, biscuits, EVERYTHING. most comfortable bed/pillows EVER beautiful, renovated features. outdoor terrace with stunning views picturesque neighbourhood and curb appeal. something out of a movie!!! Felt so safe high tech features (lighting, floor heating, smart tv) SO MUCH SPACE. so much storage, large apartment!!!! most beautiful host we have ever had <3. kind, thoughtful, beautiful.

The Host, or I should call them Friend. Yes, from the moment you met Andreas, we do not feel like the host is explaining but like a friend showing the house. The Chinese saying - 有朋自远方来， 不亦乐乎 It is such a pleasure to have friends coming from afar ! Yes, that is how we felt 2 days before we arrive, we received massage from him and confirm time that we reach, on the day, I text him before we are on the way, and he was there with his cup of coffee waiting for us at the Block of Building. The unit is fantastic, the Bed room, Dinning and Hall, are really clean and neat. The best is there is a small patio which is nice for smoker like me. Andreas treat the guest like his friends, there is Red Wine, White Wine, Beers, Sodas, Mineral Water for you, and is for you for Free, and that is not the end, there are Fresh Fruits (1 BIG BASKET), coffee, Teas (many many favours) biscuits, Nuts, Cup a soup, chocolate and many others titbits, is all yours. Other hosts will tell you where to go and visit, Andreas do more then that - He will bring you to the place (if his time is permitted) and we are lucky, he actually drove us to see the Windmill at Zaanse Schans, like a tour guild, bring us to see all the shop and explain what they are. He even drove us to airport on our last day in Amsterdam. The Apartment location is at the quiet east side of the city. Near the Artis Zoo. 14mins walk to central station, 10mins to the central tourist spots, 25mins walk to Rijksmuseum and Heineken Experience. 7mins away there are a 2 big supermarket and a Waterlooplein Market (weekend market) The City can be easily reach by feet and or Bicycle, this location is fantastic If I ever go back to Amsterdam, this is the only place I will stay

The fact we had to leave. Also would have been nice to know you can only smoke cigarettes on the patio in advance as this was one of the reasons I chose this property over others.

Andreas is a super host, we found a nice and comfortable environment at our arrival. Andreas has been available for all the time we've been spent in Amsterdam and really kind and helpful. He even drove us to see windmills. The property is really clean and nice, I highly suggest it. I will definitely come back when in Amsterdam. Thank you for everything.
