There is no elevator so you should carry your bags using stairs.

Hotel is near to center, you can go everywhere by walking. Bed is comfortable, breakfast is nice and there is a machine so you can get coffee and hot chocolate all the time. Staff is lovely. If I go Amsterdam again I will definitely stay in this hotel

Mike was amazing, he went above and beyond for you and his Nutella crepes are to die for. Please get them every morning you're there if you love sweets. The room was homely and comfortable, the facility was clean and coffee/hot chocolate/tea was always available. Be careful that the stairs are quite steep and narrow (like many places in the Netherlands) so just be cautious.

A little noisier than expected but not too intrusive.

Cute, top-floor room with all the necessary amenities. Great location, with easy access to Amsterdam restaurants, shops, and transit stations. Friendly staff [Margo/Nina] and good breakfasts. When our arrival time shifted to later time, team quickly provided an alternative check-in option.

Everything was fine.

I was greeted by Mike in a very friendly manner. He explained everything to me very patiently. I was able to leave my things at the hostel and set off on my way. All in all, a really great service. The rooms are small but well furnished. I slept very well and felt safe. Thanks to Mike for the great breakfast. I will gladly come back to you when I am in town.

There was no air-con but there was a fan. But as a result, the windows had to be kept open and the noise from outside is clearly heard. There is also no dental kit available.

The location was very good. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was brilliant. The room was clean and comfy and very good value for its price.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Amistad Hotel. We were warmly greeted by Mike and check in was easy. The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to museums, Dam Square and all the great sites in Amsterdam. From Amsterdam Centraal train station it is about a 25 minute walk to the hotel. Also, there are many excellent little cafes, restaurants and bars close by. The hotel itself is a beautiful old building with just ten rooms. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of items including eggs or pancakes cooked to order by Mike. The facilities are well tended and immaculately clean. We don't think you could find a better place to stay in Amsterdam Center.

Great place, excellent location but a little expensive. €200+ a night for a basic hotel was a bit steep but I guess that is the rate for that area. Hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were great and breakfast was excellent.
