Unfortunately some problems with the water which was cold because there was a problem with the boiler. I called the staff and they immediately started to find a solution. It took a day and a cold shower, but they fixed it.

When we arrived at Alex Rooms, nobody opened the door. If there's no one at the door, there's a note with instructions. The main hotel is located within a range of 100-200 meters. The bedsheet was a bit old. There might be some bugs around.

A lady welcomed us and explained what we needed to do. Then, you proceed to your room in the quiet town of Zwanenburg. Hot water, shower, and the toilet are quite nice. It has a very nice balcony. It was enjoyable to wake up in the morning and go out on the balcony. There is a market very close by where you can get your necessities. To get to Amsterdam, you'll need to walk to the train station, which takes about 20 minutes. It's a bit tiring, but it's worth seeing Zwanenburg houses and their way of life. You can reach Amsterdam central after just 2 stops. Additionally, there's an outlet shopping center nearby where you can find cheap products from quality brands. In conclusion, if you want a comfortable place and don't mind some minor inconveniences, don't hesitate to choose it. But I wouldn't call it superb. It's a reasonable place for the price.

If you go by Bus, it's pretty expensive and the Busses Do Not belong to GVB. And there are not enough bins.

It's a nice Place to stay, and if you travel to Amsterdam, you're glad coming back to this Place. It's definitively more quiet. You habe everything u need. Even a Supermarket around the corner.

It was for short break . I liked the area and the place was clean. Everything was good . The shops and cafe are not far from the place. Very convenient and Value for money

Had to leave a €50 cash deposit for the key and collect it from another hotel. Not a problem for me as I had the car

Asking for € 50 cash deposit without giving out a written receipt is disrespectul, also because I paid by credit card. Very limited English was spoken.

Although everything was working fine, but there was a problem with the heating system, I think I don't know if this was on purpose or if there was a malfunction despite talking to them about this several times

Noisy! Air ventilation systems sound pretty intense. The airport nearby also makes a lot of noises because of the planes taking off. There was a kettle in my room but there was no a cup for it.

It was in a converted house in a suburban street, my rickety balcony had all the neighbours passing by . Movement noise of other guests constantly

I was late for check-in. But, staff were very kind. Thank you so much. The room is quiet and can sleep well. Also the room is convenient with all the necessary items and comfortable. I recommend this accommodation.

Upon arrival. We collected the key at the sister property around the corner. Once we got into the hotel we were surprised at the location being so far away from Amsterdam. To make matters worse, we were given a standard double room instead of the deluxe double room with a balcony. Radiators did NOT work . We were cold. It was raining and miserable. The morning after we purchased some bits from the local lidl. To our surprise(mmmhmmm) the fridge didn’t work either and was full of mould. We would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel.

I had an absolutely delightful stay! The location couldn't have been better, the host was exceptionally gracious and hospitable, the accommodations were of high quality, and the terrace was simply exquisite.

Don’t expect it to be fancy or newly renovated. This is a “good enough” place.

Easy parking and Lidl right behind the apartment. Close and easy connections to the city. 10 minutes by train (just two stops) that leaves every 15 minutes from early morning to late at night. About 15-20 minute walk to the station. Good enough rooms and private. Nice staff at the hotel for checkin, flexible.

Was told by other hotel where you book in I could use back gate then a man on site tells me its private but no one seem to know . No tea / coffee or teaspoons just 2 mugs and kettle . Just a foam mattress and one not great pillow each. Very difficult for access to Amsterdam.
