Centrally located and close to ferry port. Very good value for the price, clean rooms and bath. You stay with a local family which makes it authentic, they cook you dinner and breakfast if you ask.

We booked a double room that showed it had at least 4 twin beds, but then they gave us a room with a double bed. There was only one fan in the room, and it would have been nice to have at least two, one for each person, with Nicaragua's intense heat.

A quaint, family-run place. It was super nice to be able to rent scooters right at our hostel and for a good price! The private bathroom was small but nice to have.

The check out time at 10 is way too early and although they gave me late checkout, they switched off the water so I couldn't shower before I left.

For the price I paid for a room with an ensuite bathroom and fairly good breakfast it was really a steal. The people who run the guesthouse are very friendly although little English is spoken. The guesthouse is only a block away from Moyogalpa's main street and a short walk from the ferry port.

To feel a bit lied to be honest. Moneywise. The communication wasn't clear at all, and I am Spanish so the language barrier wasn't the thing. I felt a little bit hurt and disappointed at the end because they weren't clear with me and they charged me more than what was agreed at the beginning. This was the case for the scooter. I rented a scooter for 2 days, and we agreed to return it at certain time. I returned it BEFORE that time and they still charged me half a day more for this. I clearly spoke this with her several times about the time to give it back and just when I arrive she charges me more... So just be careful what you agree with them and please always have EVERYTHING (the hour to return and everything) CLEARLY WRITTEN on the contract.

The room is nice and clean, and at the end I know they are a good family but...

Well, bugs in the room and holes in the doorframe. No lighting options except the one that was very bright. No mosquito nets in the window.

Location. Quick check-in. Reliable internet connection. Safety. Towels and soap provided. Luggage storage. General friendliness in spite of no linguistic connection. Price. Comfy big bed. Working shower. En suite bathroom.

Lovely family run property with breakfast available if you want. Maybe 1 block from the main road. I stayed in the dorm which I had to myself apart from 1 night - has a fan which is great and a private bathroom. This is a Guest House not a hostel so I had to ask for hot water for my tea but it wasn’t a problem. I had the most contact with Narcy who kept me from being incredibly ripped off for an island tour….I did it with her and it was a great day! Narcy also has a beauty salon at the front and I got my nails done for only 200 cordobas :)

The price doesn’t fit on the quality standards. It’s not expensive but there’s cheaper for better quality in the same area. I paid a double bed cabin but there was only 1 pillow (I need 2 for back issues). No hot water.

They in the process of doing major renovations to the main house. Kitchen facilities were not available despite the higher prices. They did not have a gate entry system in place if you went out and came back after the gate was locked. It would have been nice to have been told what to do!

The guest house was centrally located near the centre.
