Wi-Fi was poor, but let’s face it: you’re in a desert!

Staff were excellent- very friendly. Tour to Sossusvlei (N$1,500 extra pp) was a real highlight, and Fleming who took it was great. Setting is beautiful; in the middle of the desert and the facilities and food were excellent given the isolated position.

The rooms are wonderful, but I’ve always wondered if anyone truly enjoys the open concept bathrooms in hotel room. We were friends so it wasn’t great- but aside from that everything was wonderful and we couldn’t recommend it more. Hotel could restock toiletries and coffee after a few days- only suggestion. We were there three nights and never got coffee/tea restock or soap. Minor and not a problem.

We loved the staff! Flemming, Ransey, Keenan, Shelly, Dianne, Toshlin, and all the staff in dining and the bar were amazing. We felt so at home. The room was so spacious and comfortable. The activities were wonderful. Star gazing stuff of dreams.

The provided wifi in the reception area and beside the pool was excellent, but for those of us addicted….it was an inconvenience not to access as required in our lovely room.

What a unique experience to be able to stay in luxury in the middle of a desert with animals at the waterhole for company and attentive staff such as Dezeree (sorry if I spelt your name wrong…. But the page I wrote it on blew away into the desert!!! true story 😊) and of course Nelson……excellent customer service with a smile. Our room was spacious, even with room for a child’s bed! But lighting for finding your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night could be improved as could instructions for the safe….both minor issues. The food was delicious, and wines were reasonably priced, both amazing, considering the remote location. The finishing touch on our last night was the sound of the animals outside, that we could hear, but were not quite able to see, munching on the food left out for them by the staff….a lasting memory. Thinking about staying @ Le Mirage….just book it….you will have a wonderful unique experience!

Breakfast & dinner are limited and already set so not much diversity.

I liked everything about this place. I don’t have much to add. This place is better than any images you see. The luxury at this place is exceptional. All of my praises of this place will not do it justice. A must visit & stay. This place only had 2 nights available when I booked so I only stayed 2 nights. I would’ve liked to stay longer. There’s room for improvements but this place overall is very beautiful🥰❤️

The internet connection wasn't great. There were two wifi networks that werent accessible from my room and the coverage on other areas wasn't great either. Not too bad if the objective is to disconnect though.

Staff is very friendly and polite, installations are excellent (I found that the pictures on the publications were unfair, the Lodge is way better). Food is really good and the location is spectacular for discovering the Sesriem region.

The guide from the quad tour was not very good with younger teens. He should have give them more time to get used to the quad and give them an automatic geer. Not very patient either. Our daughter her birthday cake came the day after her birthday, that was sad given we ordered it weeks in advance and called the day before her birthday to ask if it would be there and they confirmed.

Very unique place to stay in the middle of the desert. Beautiful rooms and nice pool. We did a fun sunset quad tour for our daughter her birthday. They sang for her at the dinner table. Every night there is a 5 course dinner , first night delicious second night a bit less fancy.

The light meals on the bar menu were tasty and we loved them, but the breakfast and dinner were not very satisfying.

I loved everything. The room was very spacious and well furnished. The location was magnificent! Maintenance is taken care of down to the smallest detail, as is cleaning. All the staff were very smiley and happy to help. I would go back today if I could. It's heaven on earth.

Nothing not to like. Only suggestion would be to make the booking facility at the spa a bit easier. This was my second stay and I have not been able to get a booking at the spa once.

Tiny details could still be improved: the place is well lit at night, somewhat limiting the enjoyment of the night sky. And the rooms offer little shelves or closets to unpack bags. Not a big problem but could be improved upon.

The staff were consistently attentive and friendly, with a very cordial and professional attitude at all times. Especially reception and restaurant service left nothing to be desired. We enjoyed the generous room, excellent dinners and the Spa offerings.

The remoteness of the property makes this resort amazing. Having said that, this resort has all the services and facilities which makes it really good! The staff members are so friendly especially Abraham and Nelson and the chef!

We had an amazing stay at the Le Mirage. Great managment and super friendly and helpful staff. Fine dining restaurant. Good spa. Nice pool. Good location to visit Sossusvlei. We will be back!

It was warm at night, and the poor air conditioning worked very hard to keep us cool. You're in the middle of the desert...can't complain. It was part of the experience :)

What a beautiful place, an oasis in the desert. Our refuge for two nights from the blistering Namibian sun. The resort and it's surroundings, stunning! It was misty and so cool in the mornings. Loved sitting out having coffee in the morning. Shaded parking was available for free. The staff, exceptional! Each and everyone of them so friendly and helpful, but a stand out to us was Caneesha. Excellent service and lovely to chat with. She took such good care of us. The meals were very good. Tried some game meat, which were quite enjoyable. Breakfast was ok, not much variety. The room was clean and beautiful. We did have a leak in the shower, which was fixed straight away. To stay in such a special place was so amazing. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this once in a life time experience.
