It was very quiet, so not the most social place if you are looking for that kind of stay. But otherwise very comfortable.

This hostel is the nicest one I have stayed in for a while. Super clean and modern design, comfy beds, secure lockers, amazing bathrooms, cold drinking water, and a few cats as a bonus. Location was great too, in the heart of melacca but still down a quiet street so there isn’t much noise.

Everything was great—the place, the cats, the staff, the location, etc. However, a note for the ladies: the wash area is on the 3rd floor, but some of us, including myself, have been using the male bathroom on the 2nd floor. A staff member even saw me using it but didn't say anything. A few of the travelers I met mentioned that the staff and male guests don't mind at all, so it's not really an issue. Still, it was a bit embarrassing for me. 🫢

The check in process was a little strange as I could not enter the hostel (to check in) without a room card. Hence, I was stuck outside the door and needed to wait for someone to open the door, so that I could go to the reception to check in. The staff are also not really proactive to help with the process and are often absent/distracted at the reception to tend to the guest. The hostel also has cats that roam around during the day (a fair warning in case of allergies). The cats are somewhat friendly, but are caged up most of the time - which is honestly quite sad.

The location of the hostel is really good - just beside Mahkota Parade (shopping centre with food and amenities), and about 15-20 minutes walk from Melaka's tourist places. The hostel is also really clean (clean toilets and shower facilities) and comfortable beds. There are also coffee, tea and snacks at the common area.

the lockers in the rooms have to be unlocked by an electronic card and it makes annoying jingles when unlocking and again when locking. I woke up in the middle of the night or early morning when people on the upper floor or room next door walking around or whatever they did. also there is a karaoke bar right next to the hostel and you can hear the bass a bit.

location is nice, can walk to the main attractions of Melaka. its clean and modern. provides free water. supermarkets, restaurants and shopping malls close by. no traffic noise.

I booked the bottom bunk but I’ve got an upper bunk when I mentioned to one of the staff (the skinny glass who wear glasses) he said if somebody is moving out he will rotate me to the bottom bunk but it turns out that people are moving out everyday but he seem not care or even talk to me at all. I feel less caring from him as a customer.

The accommodation that provides a towels for the guests is perfect.

The accommodation is in the center of Melaka, so it is convenient for traveling and eating. The dorm-room is small because its for only person but so nice decor and quiet to rest in. Around the accommodation, there are a few shops that can buy anything. No breakfast but have tea, coffee in the kitchen. The receptionist (a cute boy) is extremely friendly and supportive.

This is one of the better hostels I’ve stayed in. The facilities are excellent, and very clean compared to other hostels. WiFi access is good, along with free tea and coffee in the common area. Comfortable place to base a stay in Melaka - although you probably need only one or two nights to see everything in town.

Only minor thing I did not like was the lockers were digital and would make a beeping noise every time someone would open their locker which was slightly annoying at night.
