Rooms might need some updating. Bathroom is not convenient for twin sharing. i.e. non couples it is normally left open and when enclosed it is via slated timber sliding doors which have some gaps that allow viewing angles into the toilet if one tries peek in. Definitely not something non-couples would be comfortable with.

The service here is excellent, the staff are well trained and always make you feel at home. We like it so much that we have stayed here repeatedly over many years. The standard is still very high. Breakfast is a great highlight, because it is a sit down ala carte buffet where you are served from a menu of both international and local food fare. Extremely dishes and a definite highlight for each stay. YTL resorts definitely rate among the highest standards of service we have ever experienced.

-The general atmosphere was fairly average. -Check in was extremely poor, with unwelcoming, curt, staff not helping the situation - bad first impression! -It was all just fine, whereas we expected a bit more, especially with it having been recommended by others. -Bar was an extension of the walkway to the rooms, which didn’t make it very inviting.

-The rooms were pleasant, with really nice pillows on the bed, and a super shower! -It was easy enough to find and nice to be able to park for free. -The breakfast al la carte menu had some good options, with the nasi lemak being a particular favourite. -Location in Melaka was good, generally away from the hustle of the town and an easy walk into the main hub. -The mini swimming pool and gym were adequate for training needs. -The staff gave a few good eating options in town.

The drainage sound was quite loud. We could even hear it from next door whenever they used the taps. The bed frame made noises with creaks during movements. The lift area from the reception counter is at the other building, and requires short distance walking - not really friendly for elderly people; unless assistance provided.

Location was great! Easy to get Grab. Ample parking space. We were warmly greeted by the staffs and escorted to our room. Welcome drink was truly welcoming! Warm black lychee tea. Beds were huge and tremendously comfortable. There was a bolster too! The bath tub and bathroom was strategically designed. Amazing water pressure. Enough towels. Bath area can be opened/ closed. Coffee is by capsules and tastes great. Room service is available 24H. We didn’t make it for breakfast as we woke up late however the guest relations sent us some pastries and food to our room too! Overall highly recommended stay.

Could be time for the mattress to be upgraded although our sleep weren't affected by it. TV channels were old and limited. Android TVs would be the way forward as most would be able to watch Netflix and YouTube streamed to it - perhaps an option when the hotel undergoes a refresh exercise.

Breakfast was scrumptious with plenty of choices from a menu. Service was fantastic and friendly and everyone we encountered served with smiles on their faces. The note and brownie by the GM in conjunction with our Silver Anniversary were nice touches, as were the red cloth on the doorway and folded swans.

Hotel employees are really polite, helpful and friendly. Liked the calm and pleasant ambience inside the hotel, which is very relaxing. The hotel is within walking distance to Jonker Street and other tourist attractions, thus avoiding the hassle of driving and getting caught in traffic.

The nosie from the pipes in the building could be annoying when your neighbour takes a shower. Other than that, nothing to dislike.

Small and personalised. Uniquely in a peranakan setting. The pool was small but good enough for us. The spa was good as well. All these matched our intention for a 3D2N chillax vacation. Breakfast was a la carte all you can eat, yummy. Front desk staff Anne is very helpful and friendly. She helped us with reservations to popular restaurants and gave us good recommendations.

if want to be picky, is just the pool. quite small. other than that. overall experience was great.

- The hotel is old and majestic. Historical. - Friendly and hospitable staff. - Service from checking in, bringing up to my room, serving the breakfast and housekeeping was all awesome. no compliant at all. - Love the table service of the breakfast. and the FOOD was great. Appetizing. -Location was awesome too. Facing melaka river, can have a stroll after meals. & eleven is walking distance, food stalls and hawkers are just around the corner.

Room a but noisy with poor sound insulation (can hear running bath and shower upstairs). Small swimming pool & no shower facilities and aircon not working too well.

Excellent room & decor and furniture. Very good breakfast in the stylist dining room. Useful happy hour, good spa service. Good location - close to town. Friendly staff.

Some of the staff didn't seem up to par for such a hotel. Although all of the front desk staff were great, especially Greg, the bartenders and other wait staff seemed a little aggressive and unhappy. Notably I went downstairs for a drink and felt like I wasn't welcomed at the bar, not to mention the drink itself wasn't so well put together.

Breakfast was adequate. Asked for a banana at breakfast was told chef did not have one. There were other options.cold bread supposed to be toast. The room was noisy. Plumbing from next door and talking.
