Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

MalaysiaThe cleanliness needs to be upgraded. A bit disappointed bcs my bed sheet got a stain, but lucky just a bit but it's still dirty for me. Not expected much but cleanliness is very important for the hotel. Then the receptionist need to be more alert and have some good manners in serving guest.
The hotel is very close to popular places such as klebang beach, the shore sky tower, bandar hilir, jonker walk. Restaurants are also very easy to find so don't worry if you suddenly get hungry late night.

MalaysiaBed sheet and duvet stained with god knows what fluid. Very imaginative position of palm print on the wall, just above your head level. Curtain already fall down upon entering the room.
Staff friendly. The old guy also very soft spoken. Very last minute asking for late checkout, he explained all the charges that will incurred in a very kindly manner. Nice score given due to his service.
