We were a little too late to book the Lagoon Deluxe which was the suite we wanted from the start.

The breakfast was great. The ambience and the staff were great too.

Most of sunbeds were very uncomfortable, except the one which have mattress. Also can't swim in ocean, mainly because not clean and lot of jelly fish.

We had to wait for a very long time just to check into our rooms. The ocean was unexpectedly unhygienic, would not recommend people to swim there, the pools are much better. The arrow for muslims' prayer's qibla is very inaccurate, it should be changed so that it won't affect people's prayers.

The location is far from the night market and the bathroom was small.

One of specious and unique hotel in Batu ferringhi beach. The all hotel is based on Hard rock from the reception to the room. I like the room decoration and the fact that there is PS4 inside the room which my kids love it. The room was very clean and luxury, and the bathroom was facilitate with everything needed. The hotel facilities were amazing as they have an extremely big pool with many activities to do such as slides and sand pool. I also love the underwater music that play when you dive into the pool. Furthermore, the breakfast was amazing with many verities of delicious options from vegetables to egg corner. They also have Ice cream machine which my kids really enjoy it. To sum up, this is highly recommended hotel to stay in the island of Penang.

Not booking for longer than a week, I could stay here forever!

On the drive to the hotel, the car driver noted that the Hard Rock was one of the best hotels on the island. He was not wrong! The visual of the hotel at first arrival, the staff greeting and checking in, the room, the size and condition of the pool, proximity to the beach, the food and restaurant choices, the Hard Rock Cafe, the closeness to shops and bars and food, the cleanliness, there is nothing to be complained about, it’s near enough the perfect resort hotel! We left the premises once in 7 days (and were let down by the place we went to and wish we hadn’t gone off site!) All of the staff greet you as they walk by, all of the restaurant teams are friendly and efficient, the housekeeping team are fully on top of the cleaning, the pool is cleaned every single evening. Probably things you expect as standard but rarely see followed through or not done to satisfaction. At the Hard Rock hotel, they do everything as expected and with a smile. An amazing place that I cannot wait to return to in the future!!

Cleanliness can be improved, but I think it's due to peak season as well, as the hotel was packed, but overall, it was very clean

It's definitely a family hotel, I have never been to a hotel with such a massive pool and water games, the kids enjoyed it and would love to come back, the staff were very welcoming and helpful as well. The trust level in the hotel is the best I have ever seen, I forgot my jewellery box with my diamond rings and they made sure it was safe and send it to me to KL free of charge, that's an amazing thing I would always be grateful for

Rock royalty was great - and separate restaurant a bit more peaceful for me and my 19yr old son. Clean and comfortable and fun with the rock memorabilia !
