My room has a perfect view of the river, but noisy from the roadside activities on the weekend late into the early morning. This not the fault of the hotel.

Location is right in the center of Jonker Street, which is very convenient to the main tourist spots of historical Malacca. Parking lot is perfect, just behind the hotel. Security is good as there is a watchman for the cars parked there. Room is generally clean and tidy.

Lovely location, steps away from the buzzing Jonker street. Staff are friendly, rooms are nice and cozy, but a but too small, not too much space to move around or store stuff.

The room is quite small and it doesn’t have a lot of space to put your clothes in but it’s perfect for a short stay

The location is ideal and the place is nice and clean. The bathroom has everything you need. The staff were very friendly and were in the reception 24h. We would definitely repeat!!!

Traffic in street and late fireworks very close to hotel. Very steep stairs to access rooms. Small room.

The toilet and bathroom somehow were not suitable for family. Because the bathroom and toilet is translucent so you can technically see shadows of the person bathing inside so if it’s plus the entrance to the bathroom are not fully closed. There are at least 1 feet of opening at the bottom of the door. So it was really uncomfortable to share with elders. Please take note besides that everything was good.

The room was slightly small. If you have 2 or 3 pcs of luggages, you may not have enough room to walk around "freely". The main entrance requires the staff to open every time you enter (for security reason, I suppose), so, slightly inconvenient...

The location was excellent for those who want to explore the heritage part of the city. The room was slightly smallish, but it was clean, comfy and quiet. Staff service was excellent.

Not sure if all rooms are like this, but I didn't like the positioning of AC, across from the bed, so blowing straight into your head as you sleep.

Staff was very welcoming and kind from the first moment. Hotel is located in the perfect location, near the river and main street. My room was good size, not big but not too small either. Clean room with comfy bed, nice bathroom with toiletries. Electric kettle with coffee and tea provided. Strong AC. Great WiFi.

The rooms on the second floor was a little small. suitable probably for solo traveler, but couples will find it a little small. the first floor rooms are slightly bigger

The location was perfect, right near all of the sites and Jonker street, but tucked 1 block from the noise. Our room was super quiet and we were surprised the next day to see how many rooms had been occupied as the guests were quiet too. The staff was very accommodating from opening doors, getting us in a parking spot right at the hotel, early check-in, to all of the check-in and check-out procedures--a very pleasant experience. We had friends stay 1 minute walking distance from us and they did not sleep at all due to all of the street noise.

However, due to the proximity to attractions such as night market, also meant it can be a bit noisy at night esp weekend after Muslim new year, could hear loud musics + fire crackers? at late nights. The room itself is a bit small, with only the tiniest bedside tables (slightly bigger than a palm and one already got a telephone on it) and a very small table topped already with a kettle and some tea/coffee sachets at a corner. Would be much nicer if they can think of loft setting (if allowed cos' do understand it's an old shophouse building). The air con kept on switching back to the default setting, so cold wind was blowing directly at the bed. The channels available are all local, so we didn't really use that, will be a great addition if they can get a cable to connect to a mobile device or just a SMART TV so patrons can go to youtube or netflix.

The location is perfect, just 5-min walk to Jonker street and main tourist attractions. I liked the bathroom and the rain shower. The staff are friendly overall and helpful, especially want to thank them when I was feeling unwell to help get some cold med from the pharmacy. BTW, you can request toothbrush+paste and/or razors cos' they may not supply these readily in the room.
