There’s a strong smell in the bathroom that should be checked, saw a rat running around the palapa roof and some cockroaches in the bathroom and room. I know it’s a jungle place but I’m sure there is something to do about it.

Location is very convenient for people traveling to tulum who also enjoy nightlife.

Not the hotel’s fault and beyond their control, but there is now a beach club next door that played loud music until 1 am. But, this is located in the Party Zone. So we dealt with it and still had a great vacation here!!

the receptionist always tried to fool us and charge us extra for self-organized trips. bedroom was not clean properly (bathroom in particular and terrace), shower leaked water, sink water and shower water were salty. they provide you with bottles to brush your teeth but the first day one of the two bottles had been already opened, used and filled again with dirty water.

our room was right next to the front office in the “ garden” area. The room appeared clean but the Lighting was ambient but insufficient to read by. The property next door had loud, booming music blaring from 9:00 am til 1:00 am. Could not stay again because if the noise.

beachfront . Rubin at the front desk is a gem and Las Estrella’s is lucky to have him. He’s knowledgeable and eager to assist customers. The beach and restaurant staff are wonderful . The coffee is excellent.

Gardens are pretty, but facilities need renovation. A/C only worked on occasion, shower kept malfunctioning/running at night, door lock and safe were broken when we arrived. Night club next door shook the room until 2am each night.

Even though it is advertised as located in the party zone I don’t think I appreciated just HOW LOUD the music is. Because of jet lag I have been getting up early and going to bed early which isn’t conducive to staying at this hotel. The bassline from surrounding bars and clubs was so loud it vibrated the bed and kept me awake. Some of the features around the hotel looked a bit tired and could do with a lick of paint. The room floors were never mopped only swept meaning I always kept my flip flops on. There was a weird smell of sulphur / egg in the bathroom which was off putting.

The hotel was lovely and bohemian with lots of unique features. I have never stayed anywhere like it! I was very lucky with the room I was assigned as it had the biggest balcony. I loved the size of the bed too! We loved the staff who were so accommodating and friendly. They looked after us so well. Loved the toiletries on offer too.

I don’t mind music but it was the same beat. It wasn’t a music you are able to dance or to party it was just a hard heavy metal. If that’s your type of music that’s your place but for us it was not.

The front desk and staffs were all awesome! There was seaweed and they were one of the only hotel to that cleaned! The beach was steps from the hotel. Perfect!

The hotel is right next to a beach club, and the room we stayed in would vibrate with the music. While not so bad during the day, if you were looking for peaceful evening, then you would be disappointed. Also, probably not a fault of the hotel, but the tap water tasted and felt like salt water, this was also the case in other places in Tulum.

The reception staff were really great and were very responsive to requests. The hotel is located right in the heart of the party zone, so if that's what you are looking for, then this is great. The ground of the hotel are really nice, and can be very peaceful when quiet.

The unbearable music from the next door Bagatelle "club" that plays most of the day and through until 1am at the earliest, way too loud especially the bass. Impossible to sleep even with earplugs, especially if you are unfortunate to be in one of the pool or beachfront "master" suites that are on that side of the property. The generator is too close to the rooms, so there's a constant noise from that, and the exhaust fumes can occasionally be smelt in the rooms.

Great food, amazing staff especially Flo and Daniel at Reception and all the waiters in the restaurant. When we arrived, Flo and Daniel were very open with us regarding the noise from the recently opened Bagatelle club next door, and were quick to move rooms for 2 out of the 3 couples, meaning that we all ended up in rooms we were happy with and in the case of 1 of the rooms, a bit further away from the music noise from next door, making it less unbearable. Beds very comfortable and the look and feel of the place is an appealing laid-back beach vibe. Right on the beach which is just stunning and in the heart of Tulum Beach, which is buzzing and loads of bars and restaurants within walking distance.

Extremely loud and impossible to sleep in both the night and morning. Its near all the clubs so you hear EDM until 2am from the room. And my room was right next to the housekeeping quarters so starting at 7am I heard the staff.

The clubs around it are quite loud, but with silicone each plugs it was fine - just be aware that there is music until 1-2am every night and come prepared. Also bring a sleep mask, it is fairly bright.

The direct access to the beautiful beach was amazing. The design of the room was stylish. The music of the beachclub was good and my beach chair was frontrow.

The property next door, Bagatelle, is horrendous. Insanely loud even when they only have a few guests. The worst place in Tulum.
