The rooms are massive with lots of storage for luggage (back packers in mind). Good TV that works, AC and you get towels. Great location to the ferry port (I was getting the water taxi in the morning to go to Sam Pedro) it was a 5min drive. Strong WiFi and the provide cakes and coffee for breakfast which was helpful having to get up super early for the water taxi. I met two of the staff members and they were both really helpful!

Pictures were misleading about the current condition- the hotel was renovated many years ago, and there are many cracks and scuffs everywhere. There were a number of ants in our room and the sheets looked washed but had old stains (they need to be bleached). Toilet bowl could have been cleaned better. Overall it was a little dingy. But the cost of the room is low, so you get what you paid for. Just don't expect it to look like the pictures.

Pictures are from when it opened, it doesn’t look like that anymore. Bathroom smelled funny, so keep the door shut and bathroom window open. No shower pressure, no hot water, you can clean your important bits at best. More attention to cleaning and property needs to be maintained/attention . Noisy to sleep.

Reception balcony could be made really nice as it overlooks the mainstreet. Hotel 101+windowless white rooms may evoke George Orwell for the nervous!

A bedside table and light/lamp would be nice. A refrigerator would be nice. Very few if any english TV channels. Found 2 and they were on/off depending on programming.

Great spot, middle of Ave Heroes. Big room, good bed, good wifi, good AC. Nice and helpful staff. Free coffee and pan (super-sweet bread) in the morning.

Nice room in centre of town. Don't be frightened, by it's out side appearance . Room was nice. Breakfast is only available until 8 bc the few biscuits and croissants are gone as is short on coffee mugs as well by this time

The girl working at the front desk during most of our stay was truly phenomenal. Kind, helpful and fun. By far the best service we’ve received during our 3 week trip traveling around the Yucatán Peninsula. Sweet bread and coffee in the morning was a nice touch.

The pictures provided didn't provide justice, the lighting in the room was poor, there was only one chair in the room.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. This place had cameras all along the corridors, a main metal entrance door opened only by the staff. The wifi was good. Complimentary breakfast, which consists of a coffee and multiple varieties of breads/donuts was provided.

A good place to stop off the night before a 10am ferry crossing. Felt very secure which was appreciated and pastry and coffee in the more was a bonus. All in all, very good value for money.

They send us a message asking for a transfer of 50% of the reservation value to guarantee our room. Because we were worried we would lose the reservation we did the transfer and had to pay bank taxes. Once we got to the hotel they didn't even know we already had payed in advance and we're going to charge the full price. Also the staff was not very nice. The photos are nicer than the actual place.

The room only had a tiny window which made it feel quite closed in, but it was only for 1 night so no big deal. The pastry I had had as part of the included breakfast mould inside it so they obviously weren't the freshest.

10 minutes walk to the ferry. The staff were friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable. The whole area looked clean and well maintained. AC worked well, no noise from outside overnight.

If you want to have hot water you have to wait 20min for it, and it doesn’t get much warmer. Staff says it works like this because of the length of the pipes. That doesn’t seem a good strategy for the environment or the guests. That is something that should be fixed or they should warn people before book a room in their hotel
