The area around the hotel is very old - many abandon houses. Parking is in front of the house, but always available. For the center you have to walk 10 min - we liked it.

nice property - very calm and green. At this time hot many people there - had the pool alone - otherwise it is very small. Liked the atmosphere.

For the bob discounted price I would expect a mini fridge. We did not use our private pool it had not been skimmed and was under a large tree, there was nothing in the room to skin the pool with. The private pool area had not been swept in quite some time.

The room was spacious and there was plenty of hot water. The bedding was luxurious.

The only complaint we had , and it is quite minor , is there was a large family group near us that had children screaming throughout much of the day into the late evening . This wasn’t something that we directly fault the property but they could also do more to encourage solace and encourage large groups to be quieter and more considerate of other groups in the space .

The rooms were spacious , well appointed, and very clean, with an AC system, which is one of the things that clinched this for us as we are a bit heat sensitive. The on site restaurant had excellent food and drinks . A very nice on site pool . staff were exceptionally kind and helpful:) They often arranged taxis for me when I found other means of getting a ride difficult

Wi-fi connection was very slow and intermittent. Little hot water and pressure for the shower.

Very smart, spacious and beautifully decorated room. Nice garden with a small private pool. The hotel felt overall very intimate and comfortable.

Lacks thoughtfulness but all in all spacious and comfortable, good value for money!

While it wants to be a chic boutique hotel, it lacks thoughtfulness. It's the little practical details that bring down the score for me. I checked in early (very reasonable price) and so the room wasn't 100% ready perhaps, the staff had to get towels for me separately, and it was just one body towel. When I asked for extra hand towels, it took a while for her to find them. And there was no bath mat/ towel offered. Cleanliness was not top notch, but good enough, especially with an industrial/ natural feel to it, it's hard to tell. Key chain of the hotel room key is a cute little macrame thingy which is a common craft in the region, but it's not pleasant nor hygienic at all to be holding on to a blackish fabric key chain probably soaked with many people's sweat and germs...There's also a lot of space in the room for a bench or a suitcase holder. Couldn't decipher how to get the safe to work in my room but the city and the hotel felt pretty safe and I didn't lose anything. My room came with a little walled outdoor area but it's pretty small, and there's no outdoor furniture, so you'd need to move the chair in the room outside yourself if you wish to stay out. All the staff there are friendly enough but don't seem to speak English, so please come prepared.

I had forgotten what I booked already by the time I arrived. So the size of my room with a king size bed did surprise me and I was very pleased with it! The furnishing of the room is nice, so is the surrounding outside. It is about 15-20 minute walk away from the main centre but if you have google maps with you, its not hard to find your way and it feels safe even in the middle of the night, which I have done many times. Even though the pool is small, it's sufficient just to wind down and it's clean. The hotel is also very quiet, and air con works very well. Bed is comfortable as well, no bed bugs for me! A couple of mosquitoes flying about so do bring bug spray.

The staff was highly professional and friendly. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. They were tastefully decorated with private patios and soaking pools. There is a restaurant on the premises and coffee and drinking water are provided in the room. The hotel is pet-friendly which we appreciated. We had a very quiet and relaxing stay.

Cement floors in room not clean. Path to rooms are rough beams and gravel so cannot roll your suitcase and vegetation grows into the path hitting you as you walk. Trim it! Pool was refreshing but lots of leaves. No restaurant close by and hotel doesn’t offer any incentive to eat there and nobody does, Min 15 min walk to centr

It's a pity that the private pool we had in the room was not better maintained so that we could enjoy it. However, the outdoor shared swimming pool was well maintained.

The receptionist who welcomed us was very kind. He walked us to the room and showed us how everything works. The room was very tidy with great amenities in the bathroom. Quiet neighborhood, we left the car parked on the road in front without any fear.

I wished they had a little more variety in their menu for breakfast and lunch. It was not a bad menu at all it was really good just more options.

Location was close to little park with lots of restaurants. Plus the hotel itself had a great bar and breakfast options.

More accessible water would be nice for drinking. But they have more water at the reception for guests whenever you need it. That's all everything else was great.

Everything was amazing. The spa is there, too. We didn't experience the spa but would have if we stayed longer, which we are considering to return some day. Merida is a beautiful mini city filled with friendly people. We had some traditional Yucatan cuisine about 20 minutes walking distance. They have a restaurant that was accommodating and not bad at all. Staff were friendly.

We had a good stay but to help others make a decision when there are many choices available I'm including more nuanced details that would have improved our experience: The room was more expensive than anticipated with extra fees. We had been told breakfast was included but it was not. We would have also appreciated a few smaller details such as mini fridge in the room. The bed was very firm, which I know some like but others might not (we were comfortable). There were ants in the room but it wasn't a huge deal to be honest, there were no screens and it was summer so a few bugs are expected. The hours for the restaurant and bar were unclear to us, it seemed to never be open (perhaps a seasonal issue). We had thought we were splurging for a boutique hotel, the façade and décor met that expectation but the overall experience was a bit lacking, this is more of no frills hotel. If the room was just a bit cheaper or had included breakfast (or even had it as an option to purchase) as expected, it would have been perfect.

The hotel was in a good location and easy to find. It is in a quiet area but a short walk to parks, cafes, stores, restaurants etc. If you are looking for a laid back, chill hotel, this might be a good choice for you. Check in was easy and the room was spacious. The AC was great, we were never hot in the room despite the brutal August heat. Every staff member we interacted with was kind and welcoming. We had an excellent trip and felt safe and comfortable there. We had the room with the pool in the patio which was nice (we figured, hey, it's August! We will want that pool!) but if I was staying again I'd just select a cheaper room and use the main pool which was much nicer.

There were a few maintenance issues that should have been known/fixed. The door to our room would unlock from the outside but not lock (from the inside it would both lock and unlock). They fixed this the following day, although when we went to check out the door would again not lock, so the security of our belongings was a nagging question that first day while we were exploring the city and surrounding areas. The quality of those locks/keys were very cheap. The staff did offer to have us move rooms to a downgrade (no pool), but it was already nighttime and were settled in and we weren't offered the price difference between our room and a non-pool room. The outdoor light in the pool area was burnt out so it was hard to see in order to enjoy the pool during the nighttime. It might have been that a remote was missing in our room, but the combo overhead fan/light could only be used together - so no ability to keep the fan running while having the light off at night, etc. There were two holsters for remotes - the other being the AC remote - but only one remote in the room. Previously during other stays, breakfast was included but this time they've gone more ala carte, so no rooms are offered with a breakfast option which was a nice perk previously that now costs 175 MXN pp for the base American breakfast option.

The room itself is great - the bed is super comfortable, AC on full blast cools the entire place down (it was 107F the two days we stayed so my expectations were low on how comfortable a room would be even with AC). The furniture is very sturdy, higher quality made. The pool was a perfect treat we used at nighttime. Very quiet, didn't hear other guests in other rooms. Soaps/shampoo, etc are a very nice quality.

I would have really appreciated a small fridge to keep water cool. The internet was less stable than I would have liked since I was working remotely during my stay. Also, the pool could use a good chlorine shock.

A beautiful oasis around a central pool with a stocked bar and delicious restaurant on site. It was a comfortable home base for exploring the neighborhood. I loved having a desk and my own backyard. The shower gel and shampoo was very nice!
