only thing was there was some construction next door that started early in the morning

the suite was very comfortable and had everything we needed (air con, fridge, coffee, balcony etc), great shower too. staff were super helpful and did everything to make us enjoy our stay, when we checked out we were able to use public showers before our flight home which was really nice

The bedroom was air conditioned; the other rooms were not and they were very hot. We had an extremely noisy neighbor who blasted music outside his room from 10PM until midnight, but since the office closes at 8PM, there wasn't anything we could do after he refused to quiet down.

Located a few blocks walking distance to the main commercial street in town. The landscaping on the property and around the pool is beautiful.

The one little thing is music that the staff occasionally lets play here and there, and which because of the architecture of the property reverberates everywhere. While one would prefere just to listen to the chirping voices of birds.

It's a wonderful place immersed in lush gardens in bloom located in a quiet neighborhood. The room was more like a small authentically equipped appartement overlooking the main garden and having an entrance to a little courtyard with a fountain. It overall exceeded our expectations.

I needed to change my dates last minute and when I called to speak to the hotel, the man on the line was rude, hung up on me several times and said he was 'too busy and I should call back. I'm sure he just had a bad day, but good grief! In the end I changed them through Booking.com

Fabulous little hotel with a gorgeous pool and pleasant day area, perfectly positioned to walk to the cove beaches on the West Side of Puerto Escondito. Room was comfy, beds are HUGE with great showers and nice decorative features. Great air con and fans too. The staff were really kind about letting me use the facilities between check out and my night bus.

Loved the gardens and all the plants, the room was beautiful and well styled. The location is pretty good, walking distance to a lot of places.

we loved everything about this hotel - the grounds are just beautiful and well kept. The rooms is charming and spotless and location is great! We had a mix up with the room when we arrived and the staff went out of there way to fix it - we could not of asked for more🙂

Nothing. This is an outstanding accommodation.

This hotel is called La Hacienda for a good reason. You will feel like you are staying in a hacienda. The grounds are a sight to behold and perfectly manicured. Fresh flowers are placed in your room daily. The swimming pool is a perfect size for the Hacienda and is close to the reception and bar where they will serve you drinks. It's location is very good too - about 3 blocks from a main street with numerous shops and restaurants. After visiting those restaurants you can continue a few more blocks to the most visited beach of Playa Carrizalillo with it's many steps to the beach. Taxis are availing within minutes. I can't say enough good things about La Hacienda.

It was in fact quite warm without AC.

Lovely pool area with lots of greenery and shade to protect from the heat. Very nice cleaning service that actually tidied up our stuff beyond just fixing the bed, we really appreciated. Have all kinds of sunscreens, fresh water etc. that you will need.

I wouldn’t choose the “Ocean view” room again. It’s located right under the roof so there were many little crevices where various bugs and ants came in. We had to spray continuously with insect spray… but big ants and even some cockroaches kept coming in.

Great pool area, feels like you’re in a little tropical paradise.

The other main bar and resturant area of zicatela and La Punta are too far to walk and require a taxi (15-20mins) so if you want to go out late in the evenings it may be better to be in that area

The beautiful setting with amazing gardens and amazing views out to sea. The pool area is lovely and relaxing and the area is easily walkable to come great resturants including the chill a kill which is directly nextdoor and great for breakfast/lunch and then el neno on the resturant strip was lovely for food and cocktails. This area is very close to the airport (only a 10min drive) and have enough to do in the easily walkable area for a relaxing holiday.

The shower was not warm and had about 8 small streams shooting out of it in all directions. One day the maid accidentally locked the door to the bedroom in our suite, but didn’t tell anyone, and when we asked about it they told us they didn’t have the key to that door – I had to pick the lock with a knife.

The pool and courtyard are incredibly beautiful, calm, and relaxing. Our room was comfy and had a lot of local flavor.
