Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

MexicoIt is quite noisy, I think is because of the structure, there is echo almost everywhere. Also there were some drunk guys in one room, I really dislike this because it sais that is a "family" hotel.
The location is great because there are many restaurants for all budgets and transportation is really close by.

United Statesone of the noisiest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. it’s an echo chamber and if other guests aren’t considerate it’s loud. it is probably less loud usually, I think we had an unlucky timing with a group staying there.
super cute, very clean, in an awesome location :)

Czech RepublicI stayed here 2 years ago and was given a really nice room on the first floor (the one on the photos I guess). However this time we stayed in a room on the ground level and the comfort in this room was much lower. The room and the bed were smaller and the room smelled a bit moldy. But we arrived the day before the Día de los Muertos and the hotel was fully booked, so maybe this room isn't used usually.
The location was very good (close to metrobús and metro, the neighbourhood is also nice and safe) and the hotel is relatively close to the Estación del Norte. Rooms are cleaned daily. And obviously the price is unbeatable in CDMX.

MexicoMy reservation included a room with a balcony but I was given a room without one. Also my window couldn’t be locked so it had to be jerry-rigged to close with a stick. One other inconvenience was that I asked Reception to hold onto my laundry and hand it over to the messenger when he arrived - they agreed but when the messenger came to collect they refused to hand it over to him even though he had all my details to verify the pickup.
The location was great since it was close to a park and many cute cafes and restaurants.

United StatesThere is nothing I did not and do not like about this hotel.
I've previously and positively reviewed this hotel. I continue to return over the years because of the hotel's location in historic Colonia Santa Maria la Ribera, excellent and accommodating staff, comfortability of the rooms and the value staying here holds for me. The hotel continues to upgrade the facilities. Since my 2023 visit: new window coverings, new room light fixtures and controls, excellent and almost immediate availability of hot water at all hours and a room safe. Remember: no elevator in this 4-floor hotel, walk-up necessary; no bellman; complimentary indoor and secure parking; no on-site coffee shop (but a good one is next door, others and a bakery that is steps away); firm mattress and pillows; two bottles of purified water included, daily; bathroom toiletries and excellent quality towels. Prior reference in a review to adult content cable channels: they're gone.

United StatesFriday and Saturday nights at the hotel can be a little noisy, until, say, Midnight. The nuisance is probably unavoidable. A smoke detector outside one of the rooms "chirps" noisily throughout the overnight and needs a battery change.
I stayed in Room 211. The location of this hotel, in one of Mexico City's most traditional neighborhoods, is ideal for visitors wanting to get "up close and personal" with daily life in Mexico in a safe environment steps away from excellent restaurants, an historic central park, public transportation to/from the airport and the city's most vibrant shopping center. The hotel is a typical, but above-average Mexican "tourist class" hotel offering safety, rooms spotlessly cleaned by a dedicated staff with room pricing offering exceptional value. My room was spacious with a huge marble bathroom with complimentary bottles of purified drinking water. I have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed.

AustriaThe room, but probably the whole hotel is incredibly loud. I had non closeable "windows" so I heard everything that went on outside, but if I could close them, you can also hear everything through the very old door. Last day there were 2-3 mexican families (they may live there) that were yelling for a long time. Also every night there was some very loud music that you could here in the room but not outside so I assume that it came from the neighbourhood building. It was very annoying. Low water pressure and you have to wait about 5-10 minutes for the hot water to come. I'd say is good for backpackers that don't want to share rooms and want a bathroom in the room.
The bed was really comfortable and firm. Very fast internet. It's close to buenavista bus stop. Staff was nice and helpful. The room was very clean. Complimentary water in the room.
