The jacuzzi could have been a bit warmer

The property had a great location and a warm inviting feel. The staff was extremely friendly, Nice and helpful. The in room amenities with snacks and drinks was a really nice feature as well as the honor bar. The room had all you can drink coffee, which was also a very nice feature. Also, the breakfast included was delicious. This property was well managed well-maintained and extremely comfortable. The location was great close to the Malevon and plenty of restaurants and activities. The only thing that would’ve made the property any better was if the rooftop pool/Jacuzzi was a little bit warmer. Other than that it was an exceptional place

Terrific choice for staying in La Paz

The courtyard floor, where our room was, has lights that appear to be on 24 hrs a day, which wouldn't be an issue but our curtains were very thin so all the light comes in and the room stays super bright all night. The room needs thick curtains to allow it to be dark or the lights need to be turned off in the courtyard. We were lucky and remembered sleep masks. I do recommend earplugs as well because there are an astounding number of dogs in the area and they can get pretty worked up, but that's just La Paz and not the hotel's fault. The hot tub was open, but stone cold and I'm not sure why. Overall though these are pretty minor complaints, just something to plan around since nearly everything else was great.

A beautiful property in a great location. Just minutes away from the boardwalk and main strip but not right near all the activity. The old colonial style is really well done with beautiful heavy wooden furniture everywhere. We spent several evenings on the terrace reading and enjoying the sunset. We were very comfortable here during our stay in La Paz and would come again. Plenty of street parking right near by. Staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast was also excellent.

All the stairs would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues or who suffered from vertigo as the property is stacked on four floors reached by open wooden staircases, with the breakfast room at the very top. There is a lift which I assume those who can't climb all the stairs would use to be able to access all areas of the property

Very comfortable, lovely ambience, helpful staff and lots of charming nooks and crannies to enjoy sitting and admiring the view from one of several terraces. There was a copious and freshly prepared breakfast every morning, the room was really well stocked with coffee, cold drinks and snacks, there was an honesty bar in the lounge and a hot tub on one of the terraces. The bed was huge and comfortable, everywhere was spotlessly clean and all the rooms had examples of the local ceramics and other quirky and individual decor.

This is out of the hotel's control, but there are a lot of barking dogs in the neighborhood. Light sleepers should take precautions. Also, be sure to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, as these are not provided by the hotel. The hot tub was out of service for the week we were there.

The building is very special and interesting! The service from staff was top notch in every way! Breakfast was delicious and filling. We felt very comfortable and at home here.

Property was stunning on top of breakfast & free snacks, water and soda! Most places don’t think about the small touches, but this hotel definitely did. The bathroom was so large, with the primary mirror and another seating area for makeup! Bedroom comfortable and there was a terrace, as well as many other common comfortable spaces. Would definitely book again!

Wonderful place to stay in La Paz

The hotel is in a residential area, and La Paz is a city, so you'll hear city sounds. If you want to stay anywhere in downtown La Paz, you'll have sounds of cars, dogs barking, roosters crowing and wind chimes. I enjoyed being able to watch the birds and the sea from our balcony.

Residence Las Flores is a wonderful place to stay if you find yourself in La Paz. Maria provided exceptional service upon check in and everyone at the hotel was terrific. Breakfast was delicious every morning and the tables had a beautiful view. We enjoyed the game room and the honor bar. You'll find more snacks, water, coffee and soft drinks in your room than you can consume, and it's a really nice touch.

The only thing we couldn't appreciate was the hot tub which was too cold to use.

I did not realize the interior would entail so much dark wood. It gives me less of a warm feeling and gets depressing when staying for a long time- this is subjective. No shampoo in the room so bring your own. Everything else is provided. Also, I wish breakfast started earlier. Most tours or beaches start early in the morning and you will have to miss breakfast due to that. An 8 am start would be nice, but earlier than that would be ideal. A hot tub is actually a cold tub. They do not heat it up during the summer months so we did not get a chance to enjoy it. If it was at least room temperature, that would be doable, but freezing hot tub was not something I expected to find :)

Great staff! Everyone tried their best to relay information to us in English; two friendly cats on site which was the best. Good/healthy breakfast in the morning; expresso available in the room, a ton of bottled water, and snacks also in the room which helped tremendously. It is a very unique design- you will not find anything else like that.

The only negative has nothing to do with the property, but it is a residential area and a neighbor has dogs that seem to bark all night. It was hot so we had the AC on but without the white noise (much appreciated btw) I may have needed earplugs to keep the hounds at bay.

Fantastic property, very unique. Staff was awesome and breakfast was a great way to start the day. Easy walk to restaurants and the Malecon but far enough away to cut down on the noise. Very quiet neighborhood except for a dog that needs some quality time with Cesar Millan... see negatives.

The only note I have is that the hotel itself could be a little easier to identify as there are several doors and when you first arrive, it can be a little confusing. Beyond that, there is not one moment of our trip that we would have changed. The owner of this hotel has considered every aspect of the guest's comfort and we felt completely at ease in this space. We were also confident that should we have an issue, we could have made that known and the staff would have done what they could to make sure it was resolved.

Where do I start?! To begin with, the two girls on staff here went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and as content as possible. The owner greeted us and made us feel welcome while answering the few questions we had about parking. After check-in, we were given a tour of the entire property that was more extensive than I realized when booking. There were 5 total floors, among them being a lounge for guests with music, television, computer, landlines, complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, and a full bar for a small fee. The pool deck had a hot/cold tub that was very comfortable for the hot days, four loungers to catch some sun and enjoy the ocean view and sunset, and more complimentary snacks and beverages. Above that was the breakfast dining room and patio. I was shocked at the level of service and quality of food for a complimentary breakfast! The best omelet I have ever had with the most beautiful view! The chef served a new dish every morning but breakfast always started with yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, coffee, and the option for agua fresca. The dining experience was an event, and we felt catered to in such a sweet way and left feeling completely satisfied. Luna and Camilla, the owner's kitties were a delightful addition of character to the property. We had fun spotting them around the property and giving them morning scratches on our way out for the day. I ended up coming down with the flu while we were there, unfortunately, but the property and room were so comfortable it felt like the best place to be sick as it had all the comforts of home and the staff was helpful in guiding us to a pharmacy to pick up some medicine. We will absolutely return to Residence Las Flores! 10/10 recommend it to anyone considering staying here.

I felt like I was in a work of art, not just a hotel! I had a last minute detour and needed to find last minute accommodations in La Paz...I couldn't believe my luck to find this gorgeous hotel at such a reasonable price! Walking in, you can tell it is a beautifully and skillfully designed home, not just a hotel. I was delighted by the level of care and attention to detail and design at every turn. The service and staff were top tier as well...So many thoughtful touches and extra amenities and courtesies that made me feel more than well cared for! The beds and rooms are beautiful, large, very comfortable, and so well appointed. The location is perfect, just a couple of blocks from the Malecon and minutes from the center of town. The terrace views are stunning. It was perfect and amazing in every way. Overall, a phenomenal stay, and I can't wait to get back soon :)
