Everything is over the top expensive! They could probably make more money if they dropped the price and had more guests buy more drinks and food. Just a suggestion. Taxi services are high and it’s too hot to walk or take a bicycle this time of year so taxis charge tourist prices.

Breakfast was expensive. It was cooked perfectly, but I felt the burrito I had lacked spice and some flavor. I was hoping for much more flavor in the spices and the salsas for something more pricey.

The architecture we perfection and the rooms had the most comfortable beds and space to relax. Truly the most stunning and tranquil hotel I have ever been to. Worth the stay. Eugenio was amazing at recommending local food and sites and what was truly worth the trouble. A great experience.

Such a beautiful hotel. We came here for our honeymoon. Everything here is so relaxing and a piece of heaven. The food is incredible, as well as the stuff. Everything we needed they helped us. Lucia and the other people serving our food as well. I really recommend the hotel at least one time because it’s truly an experience, especially coming with your loved one.

Limited main food choices, and there were limited ‘snacks’ considering mini markets are not right next door (we didn’t want to cycle down the busy road)

We had a fantastic time at Milam! I’m surprised it is not completely fully booked as it is possibly the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff are fantastic (especially Lucia) they couldn’t have been more helpful. I would definitely recommend. We stayed for 5 nights and that felt just about the right amount of time.

The location of the hotel. It's pretty far away, and taxis are so expensive. The restaurant's menu is limited, and the food is not that good. Eventually, in a hotel this expensive, you wouldn't expect that workers ask for tips. The waiters sometimes ask for tips even when they didn't serve you.

The design of the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The reception team was so nice and helpful and always ready to help. The pool was fun...

Not complaints but rather recommendation for improvement: The property is a bit tricky to find using GPS. Google Maps will take you to the spot in the jungle on the other side of the hotel from where you cannot even see it. The directions on this site point at totally different location on the main road. If legally possible, a couple of signs in the main road pointing to the hotel and clearer instructions in welcoming message might help. Those sensitive to A/C may feel not entirely comfortable- due to high humidity it is not good to keep the A/C off and, without any windows opening, you cannot get any outside fresh air into the room. Excellent work by the hotel staff made us forget these little inconveniences.

Amazing paradise in the jungle. Very stylish rooms with private indoor pool and little details aimed at making your stay romantic. Great food at the local restaurant. Absolutely amazing pool - the largest (longest) we have ever seen. Very professional staff - we felt being taken personal care of all the time. Special thanks for late checkout. Separate special thanks to Leo, who is a master-waiter, and to everyone at the reception desk - we really enjoyed our stay and can wholeheartedly recommend the Milam to anyone visiting Tulum.

The whole property and staff were absolutely incredible it’s the best hotel I have stayed in. The staff were so attentive and kind. Nothing! The only thing I might say is that this property is on the outskirts of Tulum town - it was a little hard to initially find and is on an unpaved/unnamed street. However, this did not bother us at all! We truly felt like we were in our own sanctuary. It is still within walking distance to town and a short drive to the beaches :)

I don’t have one bad thing to say about Milam! This property and the staff are absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated so well and constantly pinching ourselves that we were lucky enough to experience this gorgeous place. My family and I have been lucky enough to visit some amazing places, but this is BY FAR the best property AND staff we have ever had the privilege of experiencing. Truly a dream!!
