Not a problem for me, but there are a lot of stairs, not going to be a good place if you have any mobility issues.

Beautiful hotel and grounds. The rooms and beds were comfortable. Loved having a kitchen available. AC worked great. The pool and bar area was lovely and perfect for our small group. Betty was helpful from start to finish!

I think the cleanliness of the actual rooms could have been a bit better. The tile was dirty (which I think just accumulates grime over time). It probably would have bothered me less if we didn’t have a baby crawling on the floors.

Grounds were great, a good restaurant, pool, spa and gym made the stay super relaxing. The walk to town was only 10-15 for a meal out or trip to the beach. Though it’s a decent climb back up to the hotel, I found the walk a nice way to keep active on our trip. The hotel all in all was really nicely decorated, very green, rooms were huge and very accommodating for our family of 5.

The bathrooms weren’t the greatest. They felt old and had these drains that sometimes gave off an odor. I just called it “Mexican plumbing,” but it sometimes felt tight for a larger man to maneuver in and a bit discomforting to smell odors coming from the drain in the floor. They put an automatic air freshener in the bathrooms, but it was still not quite ideal for me.

The property is beautiful! Hands down it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been in my life!

The location requires you to cross a busy road, but the staff gave us notice. Drivers were willing to stop for us to cross and there is only a small stretch where there is heavy traffic.

In room laundry is a game changer. The suite was spacious and well-kept. The pools were a bit on the small side but big enough for the kids to play games and enjoy it. Our kids liked the putting green too. Pool drinks and food were both nice as well.

We love the location. Our room was big with a beautiful ocean view. The staff was very attentive and friendly. It was super quiet and relaxing with a beautiful pool surrounded by flowers and trees. I love the gardens.

There has been a couple of minor technical issues with the jacuzzi and the elevator; as well, the roof was leaking on the terrasse in the morning.

It's a few steps up the hill, if you are in good shape no problem but otherwise you might need a taxi. Only 10-15 minute walk to town.

The pool area was outstanding, the room was perfect and room service was outstanding. Full kitchen, the works.

The bedding was tricky… too heavy comforter … we adapted however

It was so peaceful , so many areas to relax quietly or join others around the multiple areas of pools, lounge chairs, tables to eat and gather, a restaurant/bar…, walks thru amazing trails of fountains/ falls, tropical foliage /trees, ponds, putting green, ( putters supplied) with 2 sand traps, every swim area was comfortably warm and well cared for( of various depths and shapes) even tiled loungers in on pool. The studio we stayed in was so updated , clean, well stocked with kitchen ware… microwave and all, a great gas stove! We had a great view of pools/gardens and could even see the bay! I would definitely recommend this place for the beauty , peacefulness and the amazing architectural beauty of the property. Due to multiple levels it may hinder handicapped clients… check with management

It is located on a hillside (which allows for the gorgeous view from our penthouse), but climbing those stairs from the main road up to the property when not wanting to taxi everywhere was very strenuous but good exercise! The pool was a little too warm to be refreshing, since the hot tubs feed into it. If the restaurant had had a more extensive menu we would have eaten in more .

The penthouse we rented was gorgeous and had everything we needed and more! Beautiful views, private hot tub. Really appreciated the many towels provided, and the huge tank of filtered water that lasted for our six night stay. No schlepping of water! Staff were super nice and responsive. And we appreciated how quiet the property was.

The water in the shower never got hot, it was lukewarm. Our visit was short, so there was no reason to mention it. Our accommodations were one of the farthest away from the elevator and, consequently there were a lot more stairs to navigate than when we were there previously. Period we asked for a 1/2 hour later check out and we're told that was not possible.

We were familiar with the location as we had stayed there before. We like the fact that is accessible to the romantic zone.
