It was incredibly loud at night. The booking site claimed that the house would have a balcony/terrace while the only outdoor area of the house was the staircase leading to it.

Great location and gorgeous views from the tree houses. The rooms have a lovely, stylish design. I personally didn't mind it but it is not for the faint hearted as whenever it gets windy, you can definitely feel it in the tree houses. The staff were helpful and chatty. There is a supermarket right next door and some lovely private beaches just opposite. The houses themselves are very cute but also a bit of a novelty item so if you're looking for a fancy hotel level of comfort, this might not meet your needs. However, for our stay of few nights, it was great and I would recommend it just for the sake of that gorgeous jungle view.

The staff and Angel went out of there way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed, I was traveling on my own and wanted some quiet so they put me on the quiet side and the room was perfect! It was clean and spacious! The Staff also helped recommend beaches and greats spots to eat! After being here for 3 weeks it’s been the best place I’ve stayed! Thank you

The neighboring hotel is very loud. Music was on until almost 2am. Second night was no party I had a very nice sleep.

Staff is extremely nice, the restaurant is great. I prefer smaller hotels with some speciality like this environment and room.

Right across from the beach but no beach access without driving up to the public beach. Maybe look into forming a partnership with a nearby beach club (taboo/tantra or MIA beach club)? If not, a pool on the property would really help. Free parking but very limited so keep in mind if they are at capacity, you may have to utilize the paid lot up the street. Not an issue during my stay but I can see it being a problem during peak season.

Great location, clean rooms, great view. Staff was phenomenal, always friendly and willing to help with anything at all. Jimmy was amazing! A great asset to the team.

We felt like home! Great rooms in the Tulum jungle within walking distance from the main Tulum beach. Special shout to Mamasan staff and especially for Jimmy for being so helpful and accommodating all time!

There is unfortunately a club right next-door that plays loud music fairly late into the night on every night but Wednesday. I think the downstairs rooms might be more protected from the sound. But we brought earplugs so it really didn't bother us at all. The hotel is not on the beach so you do have to pay to get into a beach club if you want to go to the beach, but this is true for a lot of the hotels that are on the beach anyway!

We loved our stay at Mamasan! The staff were AMAZING, especially Coco and Jamie. Everyone was so nice and helpful, and the small number of rooms made it very personal. The room was adorable and super comfortable - great AC, hot water in the shower, free filtered water daily. The price was fantastic for the area. The restaurant is amazing too, the best prices on cocktails that we found at the cute upstairs bar, and everything was so delicious.

The con part is that there are two nightclubs next to it with very loud music and if you're looking for a peace and quite holiday this could be a huge problem. (The music stops around 2am and the music is quite trash:))) We stayed in the bungalows and in the bungalows there is no ceiling in the bathroom and the shower. Especially with the bathroom, if you're looking for some privacy, this could be a problem. Also the hotel has no beach,which we already knew, but also it doesn't have a beach access. The beach is right in front of you but none of the hotels allow you to go through them. I think they can have an arrangement with one of the hotels at least to give guest access to the beach.

The staff was very nice and helpful especially Angel and Jimmy were super kind and we didn't asked for anything twice. Room was super clean. The hotel has a restaurant and a roof bar as well. We tried tacos and it was delicious. In terms of location, the hotel locates in the heart of everything, so you can walk to everywhere in hotel zone. Also, the hotel has parking so you don't have to worry about that.

The lighting was a little dim once the sun had gone down. We also had a little cockroach pay us a visit, but that is part of staying in the jungle.

I enjoyed that the dome rooms were slightly removed from the main road. It allowed us a little more peace and quiet, as the main road was lined with clubs playing music.

We had one of the treehouses close to the street so we stayed awake every night until 2 cause the music was so damn loud :/ plus: there was no mosquito net around the bed! It was terrible because we got stung every where and the room was full of mosquitoes :/

The staff was absolutely friendly and kind. We felt very comfortable.

The beds were hard and the pillows weren’t ideal.

It was beautifully set, a green oasis, off the street. We had a dome out the back and wasn’t impacted by the noise of the night clubs on the strip. The staff were fabulous, nothing was too much! It was stunning laying in bed and star gazing.

The location was amazing, nestled in the jungle it felt secluded but you could hear some music of the districts nightlife. Our view was amazing, we originally booked in a bamboo suite, and when asked if one of the upper jungle rooms was available they went above and beyond in assisting us switching rooms so we could have an amazing view of the stars and the sunset from the above the jungle top. The dinner we had was amazing, and the staff working there were so kind and helpful. Would 100% recommend for my family and friends to stay there

Although we would not book here again because the room was definitely overpriced. We didn't hear much noise from our room but 2 times water enter through the windows because of the rain, building is poorly constructed. Also there is a tarp for the room and when is even a little windy it bangs against the window and will keep you up at night. The location is good just if want to hard party, if not I would recommend renting a room in the downtown.

The room and the hotel in general was really nice and the service from the front desk was AMAZING! We would consider to book again if you literally half the price or match it with a regular private room you can rent in the downtown.

Be prepared for power outages, its Mexico!
