I would love to have had more local cuisine on the menu.

I loved the location, the pool area, the restaurant area, the Mayan ruins, the sunset over the lagoon. It was a perfect place to stay after a day of site seeing 🙏

The internet did not work as well as hoped on a work trip.

We loved the hotel, the pool, the patios, the view the rooms, - all of that was wonderful. We understand since its the low season the options for food for dinner and breakfast were very limited. But we had a wonderful continental breakfast with fresh fruit, yogurt, granola and toast.

I didn’t like that the tip was included and charged without asking. I don’t have a problem leaving tips but as a principle, they should always ask.

Music at pool area is very loud, difficult to relax. But they turn it down if you ask. Then everything is quieter and more enjoyable

Lovely facilities, great staff, very helpful. Great view on the lake! Calm place to stay, away from Mexican noise. Pool area is incredible! Bed is comfortable, there's a small fridge too. Best of our stays in Mexico, we added 1 more night just to relax.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is located at the bank of a lagoon with lots of crocodile and a beautiful sunset view. There are very tasty restaurants nearby but the restaurant in the hotel although expensive isn't bad at all. It has a very big swimming pool. :D The bed was quite comfortable and the hotel was clean.

Bedside table lights were absent - but one was provided when asked for. Shower was weak and not hot.

The breakfast was good. The pool was surrounded by many beautiful plants. The garden had ruins and was also nice. There are good restaurants located near the hotel. Coba ruins in walking distance.

This is an amazing location. Very calm with beautiful views across the lagoon, close to the coba ruins. Everyone was very welcoming, Isaias showed us around and even gave us tips for our further travels. Thanks again :) Fully recommend staying here if you want to relax and feel at ease.

The wifi didn't work properly in my room, meaning the TV/Netflix didn't work, but to be honest I came to get away from the hustle & bustle of modern life, so it was actually quite nice to have no reception. I could walk to the lobby to get online there if I needed. Warm water took a little while to get going.

If you're looking for a peaceful place to stay in Coba, I would highly recommend Hotel Kaab. Situated close to a lagoon (with Crocodiles you can sometimes spot floating near the surface), surrounded by forest filled with it the most beautiful bird song and within walking distance of the Mayan Ruins. The hotel itself is very spacious and at times it felt like I had the whole place to myself. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and informative. Clean rooms, with nice big beds. The hotel restaurant served brilliant fish tacos. The pool was lovely, as is the palm tree filled patio area - the decking needs a little love, but other than that it is a wonderful place to while away the day. The room even came with the hotel's own brand of honey-infused shower gels and soaps, nice touch.

The lady at the front desk really helpfull and kind with us, doing her best to help us with everything. Extremely comfortable bed with delicious sheets. Nice and calm swimming pool, small part of Mayan ruins inside the hotel garden. And the posibilty to see a crocodile there. Nice terace with views to the “laguna” and tropical garden.

Loved the small lake. Enjoyed bird watching at dawn and saw one of the resident crocodiles. Pool was beautiful and well maintained. (Deck could use some maintenance but it was usable) Comfortable beds. AC worked great.

Great hotel - the best in Coba (which is just a small village).. Lovely pool area with tropical feel and humming birds & other tropical birds in the trees. Good evening meal. Very friendly staff (especially Isiaez) who showed us the crocs in the lagoon...yes crocs! Great value for money.

It’s pity that they freeze up the room up to 17 degrees. That’s really not necessary and good for the environment.

Loved the pool and the relaxing music in the evening. the stuff was super friendly, they have good coctails.
