To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beautiful property with a large grocery store across the street and food vendors very close. Shuttle from and to the airport included in the room price. The room was clean and well thought out. The bed was very comfortable. I especially liked the curved pathway to the toilet. 🙂 I will 100% stay here again.

United States of AmericaEating at the restaurant is alright, I had issues with food service being sent to my room. I ordered a few times and sometimes they would forget an item or add too much (such as too much sauce on wings). My biggest issue with this was ordering it one day in the morning and 35 minutes later when I called to check, I was told no one placed an order. When I went to the restaurant to discuss the issue, they then said the chef was waiting on a confirmation which was never a thing considering I ordered there multiple time. It wasn’t about the food, it was more about calling me an indirect liar and/or trying to make me look stupid by saying nobody called, as if I was talking to myself on the phone. I understand mistakes happen, maybe they had forgot to ring it up. If they had told me that, I would have absolutely understood but trying to blame me or the chef was wrong. It hurt more because I was a tourist and I was making efforts to make everyone comfortable by attempting Spanish and such. The front desk ladies apologized on their behalf.
The front desk ladies were very helpful and sweet. The cleaning lady was also a sweetheart and very helpful. I don’t speak Spanish well but when I would try, everyone was very patient and helpful.

Good shower, the hot water took a while to come on. Beds were comfortable and we loved the cozy duvet. It was a large room. Friendly service. Shuttle was punctual and the driver took us to door 7, after letting others get off at gate 4.

CanadaThe breakfast buffet was excellent. We particularly liked that, in addition to the hot food selections, they also had a good selection of yogurt, granola and fresh fruits. We also had dinner there one night and it was excellent and very reasonably priced. The staff in the restaurant were very attentive and friendly.
