Hurricane Beryl, which was to that time.

We loved it. It was next to a beach in a safe area with security. To the city center and hotel zone it was some minutes by car. But fortunately Uber was avaiable. Because of the hurricane Beryl we weren't able to stay the full time. We could have. Our host Arturo gave us all options which were possible with the option to stay in Casa Lara or the Casa next to it, where the first level was a little bit higher in case of flooding. We wanted to be sure and moved to a hotel near the airport. Arturo and Christina welcomed us very warmly and made very authentic Mexican breakfast. Very friendly and courteous people. Mattresses were very firm. Water in the shower didn't get very warm, but I didn't mind.

Great proprietors, very helpful and friendly. Nice big room and bathroom. Air-conditioning was great.

Everything was pleasant

Arthuro and Yessica we're exceptional during our stay! From accommodating us with a later check out, luggage keeping, to the friendliness, the delicious breakfast and helpful tips. The place was conveniently located near a local beach in a very safe and walkable neighborhood We stayed for a night only but to enjoy the rooftop pool! The room was small but comfortable with Ac and a little balcony, comfortable bed. The shared washroom was always cleaned and accessible

Everything was great, Arturo very nice and caring, the place very clean and perfectly fitting our first night's needs in Cancun. The beach is on the other side of the road, very handy. The breakfast was tasty and fulfilling!

A bit small bed for two people.

The host was very friendly and gave us very useful tips how to reach the best beaches in Hoteliere (Playa Delfines). Very clean, nice breakfast on the terrace. Good offer for the money. Small tip: use Uber to reach beaches and ADO station. It costs 3 times cheaper that with a taxi.

The pool was about half full and not exactly together with the loungy area. ie: you can't exactly lay around the pool. The roof terrace has no shade. It could have shade, looks like it maybe used to have shade, but it doesn't.

Breakfast is fine. Nothing to write home about. They really don't understand much about food allergies.

Casa Lara is extremely welcoming, the neighborhood is nice and calm, and Arturo is incredibly friendly - he helped us with every question we had. Not to forget about the delicious breakfast. Clear recommendation.

Only things nearby were nice beach and several beach restaurants. I took the taxi to the grocery store which was $5 one way including tip. I took the taxi to the ADO bus station in Cancun32 which was $18 including tip. You can take an ADO red van to a shopping area for $1 each way, however. Avoid mosquitoes between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Breakfast each morning was very good. Location was close to the nice beach. Area was secure and quiet at night. I saw many birds and even saw 2 parrots fly over me! Several beach restaurants nearby. Arturo and his mother were very nice, friendly and helpful. The free water was a plus. The casa was kept very clean. Relaxing by the rooftop pool was nice.

It is a nice quiet place, specially comparing to the rest of Cancun. Perfect start of our trip in Mexico. The family that run the place are super friendly.
