Nice hostel with lots of nature/beautiful garden. Good wifi and a nice hot shower. The accommodation was a 10/15 minute walk away from the lake but that was good for me.

The kitchen could be improved but there is one ;-)

The hosts are very nice and helpful. Even if I slept in another hostel before coming (it was full), they helped me to find how to reach Calakmul;-) comfortable dorm, nice rooftop to chill out

Really enjoyed sleeping on the tent. it is basically like having your own private room with a lot of space and even a fan inside, it kind of reminded me of camping places, in a way smaller scale, where you have common bathrooms and showers. The staff were also very helpful and charismatic.

I wouldn’t say the tents were the most comfortable, but I don’t think that should’ve been expected

It’s a nice property and a great vibe. I think the location is pretty good overall.

The owner is lovely and very helpful. This was the best hostel during my 3 weeks Yucatan trip. I liked especially the common kitchen area which is outdoor and has a small jungle feeling.

Nothing that i didnt like, only that he kitchen is very basic, could do with just a few more items like a cutting knife and a kettle.

Peaceful, very well kept and nice social areas.

The rooms are not AC (personal fan) for each bed and mosquito netting on open windows. Not a problem if good weather but bit damp and chilly when it’s raining. Some street dogs in the area at night but you just need to be the ‘alpha’ and they leave you alone.

Easy walk from ADO station, lagoon and centre. Some local shops/eateries nearby if you don’t want to walk to centre. Very clean and good garden and upstairs area to chill/socialize. The lady who runs it is very, very nice. (Let me wait there until my night bus.)

Big construction site next door (finished soon I guess), so it can be loud during the day, but I was out doing activities anyway and it didn’t bother me.

Such a beautiful hostel with eye for detail. Awesome rooftop to hang out in a hammock or do some yoga. Plenty more hangout space in the garden as well with a small kitchenette. Low season now so I was the only guest but this hostel has so much potential

The construction work. It’s not the hostels fault but it’s not good. Woken up early in the morning and unable to relax throughout the day so unfortunately I didn’t get much sleep. Ear plugs don’t help!

A nice hostel with some really great chillout areas and comfortable beds. The personal fans in the room are an added bonus! Nice facilities overall and good vibes.

It would be nice if the kitchen had a little more in it, as it just has a microwave to cook with. To be honest, just the addition of an electric kettle would make a huge difference. It's a little way out of town, but just a 10-15 minute walk, so nothing major. Just a suggestion for the owner - the beds could do with a shelf or something to put the power socket on (which hangs down from above). I have a UK phone charger, and UK plugs are bulky and heavy. In order to use it, I have to use an even bulkier travel adaptor. This hangs down above you. One night one arm caught my phone charging cable as I slept, and my heavy plugs hit me in the face. It would be useful to be able to tuck them out of the way to avoid that happening.

I loved staying here! The whole hostel is beautiful. It's really nicely decorated and it has a lovely feel to it. The bed was super comfy and the showers were great. There is an adorable little cat there too. The owner was really nice and friendly, and very helpful. Fantastic location for the ADO bus station - just a 10 minute walk.

This place was super cool. Wonderful rustic /camping vibe with an open air hot shower and equipped outdoor shared kitchen with outdoor seating area with shade. The fridge was a bit overstuffed, but didn’t matter for me in the end. Coffee served at the front desk was tasty. Dorms were decent size and had lockers and mosquito nets. Bed was comfortable for being a bunk. Lounge/upstairs deck area was relaxing and had a couple hammocks. The walk into town was nice, not too far. And it is relatively close to the bus station as well. There was a small issue that needs no mention other than the staff and owners handled it professionally and graciously. They made sure things were made right and I left feeling good. I would absolutely return!
