Only problem is the table is with mesh wire, with holes. Previous guests left food remnants, and it’s very difficult to be cleaned. Really very dirty and unhygienic.

It's economical, got all things that's needed, room is quite spacious. kitchen is good, quite clean, comfortable bed, got good natural light with big windows. Best is it’s very near to La Plancha, Walmart and Paseo de Montejo.

The pillows were so used out and bad. The bathroom sink was not clean at all. There was many bugs in the room and in bed, i was bitten badly while sleeping.

The host was super nice and friendly. The location was good. The AC and Wifi were good.

It was excellent value for the money I paid for each night. I know Merida well so I knew it was quite a long walk to the Plaza Grande. But WallMart was a few minutes walk away if like me you intend to cater for yourself. Paseo Montejo is only two blocks away. Most days I walked down Calle 55 to Calle 60 and caught the bus into Progreso. I probably should have rented a bicycle for the eight days I was there.

Office hours are not ideal. They are closed on Sundays so no one was there to meet us when we arrived and we could not get hold of anyone so we were left standing outside with all our stuff for almost an hour. We also got woken up early in the morning by a guest needing a key to exit the front gate which should not have been our job to do. The staff of the hotel talked loudly right outside our room early in the morning and woke us up, when we asked them to be quiet as we were trying to sleep they ignored our request and continued.

The shower didn't have a door.

It's a small boutique hotel w/ minimum amount of staff. The staff go home in the evening and so if you're arriving after hours, better notify them. I was coming in after hours and the hotel staff was kind enough to leave my room key in a lockbox. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The A/C helped.

It has a kitchen corner but not enough kitchen equipment to use it. No pot and a small very old pan. You can fry an egg there but nothing more.

It has a kitchen corner but sadly almost no equipment just regular spoons, forks and knives. One very old small pan and one jug to heat water. But was missing essential stuff for cooking like normal pot and pan, cutting board and a sharp knife. Without those nobody can cook there sadly.

The size of the room was nice and everything was nice and clean. The AC worked without problems. The kitchen had gas heater, fridge and microwave..

All was fine: the room, the bed, the cleanness. Nothing special, just a good place to stay for a night or two. We were happy with the flexibility from the staff regarding our arrival time (plane was delayed).

Nothing bad to say about this Hotel. Maybe only the bathrooms would need a little refurnish, but everything was clean and appropriate for the price.

The Staff was super friendly and helpful, even if we didn't speak a lot of Spanish, with translation apps on the phone everything worked out. Room was very spacious with a kitchen and a big fridge. Location is in around 15/20 min walking distance to the historic city center and everything important is really close.

Our room smelled like unwashed feet. Although it looked clean, if drab. The bed was small and hard. Although we asked for extra blankets in advance, there were no blankets at all, just a sheet. We used towels to try to keep warm. The concierge was unable to book a taxi for us with an hour's notice. Only two hangers in the wardrobe. The kitchen has a two burner stove, which i couldn't get to light and a couple of elderly worn pots. You get what you pay for, but, as a frequent visitor to this area there are better options. I rated this average on the basis of location only.

The location for CMA hospital is excellent. The small kitchen is handy. It's five minutes walk to Walmart. A hotel a minute's walk away does breakfast, round the corner is a small restaurant for burger type food. There is a coffee maker, small fridge and microwave all of which worked.
