It’s a little desert if you to go to the center walking. I recommend taking the taxi.

I don't really have anything negative to say. We enjoyed our stay.

We thought the location was great. It was a little bit outside the tourist center which we appreciated. We could walk to some nearby restaurants within about 20 minutes. The room was very clean and they even upgraded us to an ocean view because it was our honeymoon! We really appreciated that. They also left cute towel arrangements every day which was a super nice touch. The staff were warm and welcoming and very communicative with us about our arrival even though we got in late it was completely fine. They stayed to let us in.

Breakfast was very simple, not too many options. Walk to the main street (5th avenue) where all the bars and restaurants are took around 20min.

Room extremely clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Lots of light and a nice view to the forest. Small kitchen with all necessary appliances. Walking distance to a beautiful and more quiet beach (Playa 88) - further from the buzzing main street and busy beaches. Available indoor parking, great vibe!

We had the best stay at Cielo y Mar. It exceeded our expectations and we were so sad to leave. Sergio at reception is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. All the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a good location, clean, quiet and very spacious. Overall, a 10/10 experience and we would definitely recommend this place!

few options for breakfast (no protein except for yoghurt and cheese slices). had to take the car to get to 5th avenue restaurants. a/c was malfunctioning (water coming inside the room).

Location was between two public beaches and a 15 minute walk (7 minute bike ride) from restaurants on the main tourist strip, on Fifth Avenue. I really enjoyed renting bicycles and using them to go between several beaches. Room was very spacious and bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was just enough to get going in the morning -- coffee, juice, toast, cereal, yogurt and fruits. I also really appreciated having parking available.

For a 3 star hotel great service and we felt like it was more of a 4 star hotel. Great location for the price. Not too far from the beach. The roof top pool was top. The main guy was very nice and helpful!

Lack of space for clothes.

Loved everything. Sergio was a very good host. The property was spotlessly clean. Fabulous plunge pool and roof terrace. Easy walking distance from restaurants, bars and beaches. Coffee machine with ample suppies. Fresh water dispenser in dining room.

Fantastic place, far from the noise of la Quinta avenida, amazing rooftop pool with view to the sea. The place is beautiful, clean and comfortable, I highly recommend it

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

We loved it so much that we start our Mexico trip here and then decided to come back to finish our trip here. The breakfast was amazing and the beach is just across the street. The rooftop pool was small but super clean and the area to chill around the pool was amazing. Cielo y Mar will always be special for us because my fiancé proposed to me while we were there, in Playa del Carmen. We will come back for sure.

It was a small boutique hotel away from the chaos of the downtown. We had a view across the jungle out to ocean…. Amazing sunrises!

We had 14 days here, so the ONLY thing what I could mention, there's not much choice in the breakfast, but if you are staying for the couple of days, it's gonna be ok :) (if you had a longer stay just like us, just try Bajo Café which is 5 min walk from the hotel! ❤️)

This hotel is amazing!!! We spent our honeymoon here, it was 14 beautiful days what we never forget! The staff was sooo friendly and kind to us. ❤️ They were there if we had any issues. You can wake up with the birds singins (every morning we watch the sunrise and spent around 30 minutes in the balcony and just watching the birds ❤️) it has a daily room cleaning, the pool is also amazing! If we ever go back to PDC, 1000% that we will book this room again ❤️ also the 5th avenue shops and restaurants are in 10min walk, so everything was just perfect!! ❤️

It is a bit far from Playa del Carmen main area but good if you want to get away from hustle and bustle

Sergio and team was super hospitable and welcoming. They helped us organise taxis and transportation to our tour companies. Area is quiet with close proximity to the beach

The room was spacious and clean. We also loved the location! It was very quiet, yet a short walk to the more busy area with many restaurants and stores. There are also several beaches near. The pool area was nice and relaxing and the view from there was amazing! The staff was nice and always helpful. We would love to go back!

No real complaints....liked the hotel very much.

The staff is warm and friendly. My room was very clean, good size, nice terrace. Liked the view of all the trees, distant view of the ocean. Lots of birds. Peaceful neighborhood. Walkable area. There is an elevator. The pool is small but nice, great view from the roof. Walked to the local beach, Playa 72.
